I appreciate you saying you're not going to force a haul. I see a lot of UA-camrs buy tons of things just for the sake of filming a haul video, and then it all goes to waste because they were doing it for the audience rather than themselves. I think it's cool if you naturally bought things that you plan to use, but otherwise, I think it's good to do what you said and not force it for the sake of a video
I Agree. I can’t stand when people post a 400 dollar haul once a week just for videos. Such a waste. I’d rather see people using old products they truly love.

Hey Sarah, just wanted to let you know: A lot of the clean beauty products expire really fast because of their ingredients and stuff. So depending on when you got the Kosas bronzer, it really might have expired.

Fall decorate videos and fall makeup tutorials are my favorite! The Instagram picks my makeup sounds like fun. A fall haul would be fun too, it's also a lot of fun to watch 1 palette 3 look videos. I usually get a new eyeshadow palette, a new lipstick, candles, and a sweater for fall.

I believe Kosas is part of the clean beauty list at Sephora and the problem with “clean beauty” is that those brands put little (or none at all) preservatives in their products which means that they will expire quickly. Preservatives are put into cosmetics to prevent bacteria from growing and allowing the makeup to last longer. I’ve read reviews on Sephora of “clean” makeup and skincare growing mold because of no preservatives in the products. That’s why I stay away from “clean” makeup and skincare.

I don't own any Kosas products but have heard about the bad smell, not just the bronzer but their products in general. I guess since it's a "clean" brand it just goes bad quickly. I've heard so many people talking about their concealer going bad only after a month or so :(
the shelf life on the concealer says 12 months but after 5 or 6 months mine literally smelled like moldy paint lmao
I would love to see you chat about or explore sustainability more on your channel. Our consumer habits are a big problem factor in the environmental crisis we are all in, so it would be cool to see more talk about this from you and your perspective 😊 the most sustainable thing is obviously to use what you have and make sure to buy stuff you know you'll get a lot of use of. I know this is a difficult topic when you're a creator and making content like you are. And I love your content! But I also feel we're a bit past traditional hauls as it fuels the consumer mindset that is a bit dangerous. I just need to know how you're thinking about this, especially when you're introducing new stuff into your life. So like an update to project pan and how to know when makeup is expired and how long they actually last would be interesting! Or a sustainability project of some kind, deep dives, research or something else you maybe think of 💚

yeah I hate expensive clean beauty brands.. like either put preservatives in your products or charge less because people will have to repurchase much much faster
