As a BC resident, I always look forward to your BC content. As a matter of fact, the same week you were filming this segment I was relatively nearby fishing streams in the Cranbrook area. Cheers.
I have done something very similar. Here is a list of materials: Two magnetic cord holders. Rope of your choice to join these two together. Swivel eye bolt snap or carabiner to attach to pack.

I was fishing the Elk that day. I got two decent Bull trout on nymphs first thing in the morning, then lots of Cutthroat on dries in the afternoon.
Well done gentlemen, fun video and beautiful fish.. props on the C&R, tight lines!
You've caught quite a few over the years on that Purple haze... I started using it more and found it works well especially on sunny days
Nice water, fun fish. Nice job and thanks for sharing.
Love that part of BC. The permitting system is a little cumbersome, but it probably keeps the fishing good and the crowds down.
Great video. Where is Steve?
Hi. Love the videos!1. Ladin what is strap type u carry your net on. Seems so simple. Any help would be great
That is a strap that Larry makes himself. It does work well!
