An awfully hard trek, bur equally rewarding. If you're a beginner or do not have the experience of atleast 3-4 Himalayan treks, please stay away from Buran Ghati. This place is no joke, it WILL kîll you.

It is a bit of a hard trek, we agree, but nothing to keep beginners away IF (a BIG IF), they are physically prepared for the trek.
You must work on your endurance for at least 30-45 days before the trek to do this trek comfortably. If you do that, you can definitely do this even as your first trek.
(The same fitness requirement applies even for experienced trekkers of course.)

A DPR to tunnel that pass is long ready.
The proposed tunnel will connect Janglik village in Shimla district with Barua Khas village in Sangla, Kinnaur.
Barua Khas is also the starting point in HP of proposed Harsil - Kinnaur - Hatkoti road through another (proposed) tunnel under the mighty Lamkhaga Pass.
The same road will lead to Paonta Sahib and onwards to Chandigarh via the under construction Paonta Sahib - Hatkoti National Highway NH 707 A

​@@suhassukinkar8833 The weather is always unpredictable in mountains. So there's no point in expecting similar conditions each year.
I did this trek in October 2022, and no batch could cross the pass that season when no snowfall is expected normally.

Very happy to have been a part of this trek . Though I couldn’t reach till the summit, one of the best phase of life ever. It’ll just transport you to a different world altogether and the experience and memories you gain is just so wonderful especially the forest bathing.
