In this episode of #ChuckAndHisTruck, I'm doing a simple video on how to change your background screen to anything that you like!
Make sure that the picture is a PNG FILE and name it "zxwlogo.png" and the pixels need to be set at 1366x733.

Is It a specific format I need of tha picture? I tried this by downloading pictures from google still won’t pop up to change it.

How does hot summer sitting in the car affect this unit? We have whole months of near or at 100 degree days here.
I haven’t had any problems for the past 2 summers. My car is leather and can get really hot in the summer. We don’t have a whole month in the 100s here in Cleveland but it can get up to 100 and stay in the 90s for a few weeks during the summer
So I can't connect my phone for the image it has to be a flash drive?
Or you can email it to yourself. Then login on the radio and download it that way

Thinking about getting this for my gmc sierra. Have you had any problems with it so far? And does it connect to iphone?
I haven’t had any problems since I’ve had it a couple years now. It can connect via Bluetooth otherwise you will have to buy the CarPlay adapter

Can you use the factory bezel with this unit mine is grey also but I see you changed it to brown? And do you still have all your factory settings as far backup camera, navigation and so on?
No the bezel comes attached the radio. When I bought mine, They only came with the brown bezel so I spray painted it silver. And yes you still can use the factory settings like backup camera, onstar and it has built in GPS. Plus I bought the CarPlay adapter
@@chuckfreshtv I saw it comes with carplay, but the adaptor is for wireless carplay? I plan on getting one of these for my 2010 escalade.
@@kingjaffy8238 I didn’t get mine preinstalled but you can buy either the wired or wireless CarPlay dongle.

Yup! I connect to my hotspot all the time
Where do you download the picture from?
Google. Look for a png file

@@JoshuaS-zg2ph No it can be any png file. I emailed it to myself from my pc and opened it on the Gmail app on the radio

What size flash drive 16g or 32g
It can be any size. Pictures don’t take up that much space
Where do u get the pictures from if u dont have the USB in

Did you take out the board and install it on the back if the radio?
