Great interview. Buzz and his band are one in a million.

One of the best recent interviews with buzz. You kept him engaged but didn’t try to inject yourself into the interview too much. You let him and his ideas have room to breathe. Too many of these interviewers can’t handle that.

I don't want to exist in a world without Buzz Osborne. Incredible artist/mind. I could listen to his stories and lessons all day,

he didn’t really answer why double drums occurred to him. It can be cool, have done it, we were not matching each other, when both play p much same thing, no point.
been cool to know how Buzz comes up with lyrics.

i agree with buzz so much on that cancel culture shit, i hate seeing people getting "cancelled" for such minor things and i just don't understand it! people should get off the internet and realize that the real world doesn't care!! loved the interview so informative i love hearing buzz talk

phrase is moronic, i don’t even repeat it, it’s for people still attached to the idiot box

longest intro ever.... great interview though..
its funny the way buzz recorded the album "Tarantula Heart" is the same way i record my music legit everytime,
its like jamming on a random riffs until you find something crazy good, then you aim a little higher and bam! master pieces..
    then you record it...
melvins are unreal live, its crazy to hear the similarities with how we all create music...
i agree with buzz on pretty much everything, music is either good or bad.. due to songwriting.

like Jimmy Page, Buzz new exactly the direction he was going to take music. Seeing the gap, who else did?

it’s many of the punks buzz was surrounded by at KRS in Olympia, they were the ones pushing this idea music is only cool when made by the right people for right reasons. All that riot girl garbage aka cheerleader motif music. Many people appropriate rock n roll to elevate themselves not because they care about music

the way it all went down with buzz does not happen with 99.9999999999 percent of the rest of people.

Steven is a great bass player, however he is in it for fame. He’s a snob, he’s in the melvins because dale & buzz are down to earth, regular folks.

yes it’s coolas buzz refers to his marriage as a team. it’s still lame to suggest u’d make a great team. People look for a mate like another person is a pair of jeans or product.
destroying family life has been a target of MILITARY domestically. The rulers don’t like strong people to lord over.

As a long time Melvins fan, I just lost a ton of respect for this guy here. You don't shit talk a Master musician in one breath and then praise a crappy boring band like The Who in the next breath. Not a good look! Some of my greatest rock heros like Prince, aren't necessarily the music I listen to for pleasure, but they inspire me in so many other ways. I have to question Buzz's inteligence when he seems not to have the discernment between what you listen to for 'taste' vs. to learn from and find inspiration. He seems closed minded and seems to think one dimensionally to have such as shitty attitude. Even if we're talking about 'taste' alone....so what! Buzz clearly has questionable taste in music. I mean The Who? I've never heard a sound come from The Who that moved me in any way. If Buzz had taste, he'd spend more radio time talking about Mozart. So, I've seen enough here.

Prince? Who cares what he likes or doesn't like? How sensitive are you? I guarantee Buzz hates the music I listen to but who cares? I can still respect that he's someone who was in the eye of a cultural hurricane that he helped kick start and realize he has valuable things to say about the history of it and music.
