You do such great work! It’s fun to watch you update furniture. You never cut corners and have impeccable taste. 😊
Thank you so much!!
Wow!! Really a great look! Hmmm I say start high. A desk like that in the stores would go for 250 easy and would not be the quality that this one is. Try 250 or 225. You can always lower the price over time.
Glad you like it!
First time watcher here. I'm impressed. I just love to see outdated furniture brought back to life. This looks super modern and very nicely done. 👍
Thank you for tuning in! Glad you liked the makeover 👍
Paired with the black chair is perfect. Another successful flip.
It would be very appealing to sell the desk with the chair; they go SO well together. Just be sure you ask enough for the set!
Love all about the desk, the black accents it’s amazing the color everything, it’s a very cute desk ☺️
Nice job! Looks brand new, modern and cool. 🥰
I love that!!
In my area, that would sell for about $160.
Very nice! Love the choice of color and finishes. I would pay up to $150 for this piece!
That is an amazing transformation. You did an awesome job.
Thank you!!
Love. Love. Love. It! Now I have to redo a desk that I painted a couple of years ago. Inspiring! Thank you for sharing your process😊
Beautiful, you always do such fabulous work, great tutorials. Thank you
Very nice! Your work is beautiful.
Beautiful, you did an amazing job.👏🏻👏🏻
Stunning transformation - love the black accents and the finish overall - very professional.
Love the black accents. It really makes it special. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Very nice! 💖
Fantastic!!
Very sharp!
I like that. That is the size I need!
Really nice paint
Really nice!
Wow gorgeous. Love your videos - very calming. So nice not to have annoying background music 😊
Thanks Julie glad you liked the video :)
Bondo spreaders are a smooth plastic and come in a package of 6 or 8 at jarbor frieght for less than 5$ and can be cleaned and reused. I use an old magazine to mix bondo on
У Вас большой талант. Очень качественная работа. Молодец!
Wow amazing! Love the colour and outcome .
A tip when using bondo for ur repairs (coming from a career in autobody repair) before you put your bondo onto the repair area first sand the surounding area. This way the bondo will have space tk feather out onto a sanded area and not chip off .
Always love when you use that color!
Thanks! I am happy I picked it up, I must say I really like it!
Very nice!
The tack style furniture risers work nicely on the Veneer topped wood. I grabbed a pack from Home Depot. I really like the raw wood look on the drawer faces with the tan color. Nice Job! Ps. Where's your rubber mallet for those wood plugs?
Thank you for doing such a great job teaching us every step. Loved the colors you picked out.
Glad you liked it Linda !!
Stunning transformation, looks absolutely amazing, well done x
Thanks so much!
Love this project! I have an oak stained desk that I've been wanting to paint. After watching you do yours, I feel much more ready to go ahead with this. Thanks so much!!
Loved it! Kudos to you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love the color and natural wood accented w/black. So pretty!
Thank you! 😊
Glad to see that handle sure makes it easier on your fingers
Well done! Looks modern without going overboard! 👏🏼
Thank you! glad you liked it :)
Omg very nice
Really pretty! I like that you kept the drawers natural.
Thank you Kathy!
That turned out great 👍 👌
Thanks 👍
Such a big improvement. Well done 👍🏼
Thank you Sarah! and thanks for watching
It looks really nice thanks
I'm glad you like it, and thanks for watching :)

Nice finished product. I like how you top coated the natural drawers with the same tinted topcoat, it seems to give it a hint of color but not too much!
Thanks!! Glad you liked it.
I was hoping you painted the covers black. Really nice desk. That time it was made was quality. Start at $225 to $250. Nice. Don’t cheap out either.
That's so beautiful, try 300 it's stylish modern goes good in any room
Love the desk! I would list it for around $185
Thanks Sabby!!
Oh wow!!🥰 What a clean & sophisticated transformation...& the combination of tones and colors though🥰. Love your attention to detail. You probably could get a hundred thousand....but you could ask $250 to $275 for the time being 👍😊
Thank you D!! I am glad you liked the makeover :) I wish I could get that much LOL
Very nice ! So the drawers are just your top coat mixed with a bit of the paint ? Super interesting!
it looks for fantastic!!! So where or how do you come up with your color combos? The set is stunning 200.00?
Nice 👍🙂
thanks!!
LOVE it!!!! Around $150 +/-.
Thanks Linda!! Glad you like it!
Wow! Looks awesome! Start higher than you think, you can always negotiate! People love to negotiate...... they feel like they’ve gotten a fair price :)
thanks Margaret! Good tip!
Nice color...I think I would have used silver/ hammered silver hardware . Nice job. $200.
It turned out cuter then I expected. I bet you could've reused the wooden screw covers. I think this is worth at least $150. At least. It's hard for me to say. I worry that's not going to be fair to you if not a little more, but if be shocked if it doesn't sell for at least that.
Can you do a whole video on your sprayer? I have the same one and I cannot seem to get the water/paint ratio and the dial level correct
Of course! This gun is tricky with water-based poly, you will waste a lot I find. Every time you spray you need to start it before your project because it spits poly. I usually spray the wall for a complete seconds, and when you start spraying don't let go or it may spit to. I am sure I can explain better in a video, I will have to make one soon.
And for the water amount, try to measure 10% for poly, and for paint I start with 10% and if it doesn't spray well I will add 5% at a time, sometimes I don't even measure for paint I just get the consistency I want.
@@FurnitureFlippa thank you! I even used a velocity cup and it was larger than the one I saw a video for so I wasn't sure how fast it should be flowing, then when I tested the gun on some cardboard it was splattering no matter which level I had it on. I will try 10% and a video would be amazing! Most wagner videos out there don't focus on the water amount or the dial level and those are the most important parts I think!
I like your method in painting you just slap that paint on swinging the brush that's how I paint as much as i want to paint all clean I can't great piece
Love your work and simplistic style of making videos. Straight to the point, no bells and whistles. You said you used 3 coats of poly on this. How many times would that require you to refill yoir sprayer with poly. Ive stayed away from spraying poly and paint even because i feel it might use alot more product. I have a spray gun like yours just a different brand. Please guide me.
I used the 500ml and added a tiny bit I had left from another can, I use more with my wagner cause it spits out poly before each spray. My homeright does not, but I am waiting on parts for the homeright!
Yeah I have a desk that I painted before but it would always chip and now I'm planning of redecorating my room to Daisy theme last I painted it the colors mixed and somehow it turned out like a greenish blue color my theme is black and yellow the desk works great I just plan to clean all previous time I painted it off and this time make sure I'm painting it the right way so it won't chip or be the wrong color I plan to paint it black with daisy on it and then I don't think I'm ever going to paint it again my room was original sea themes my mom picked it it's been sea for like a long time years I hate it I'm sea sick like when I walk in my room I fell sea sick don't worry I plan to donate my sea decorations to my niece they are trying to move and I think she well like the sea theme
You put a lot of work in this project. I would say at least $120 for the desk.
You should have taken off that ornate piece at the bottom. It still makes the desk look dated. I would've also painted the drawers the same color as the frame. Other than that it looks great
thanks for your input!
I think you paid too much for this desk.
You think? Paid $30 sold $150
Sloppy workmanship putting those domes on the underside of the "feet".
