    Wow!! Really a great look! Hmmm I say start high. A desk like that in the stores would go for 250 easy and would not be the quality that this one is. Try 250 or 225. You can always lower the price over time.

    It would be very appealing to sell the desk with the chair; they go SO well together. Just be sure you ask enough for the set!

    A tip when using bondo for ur repairs (coming from a career in autobody repair) before you put your bondo onto the repair area first sand the surounding area. This way the bondo will have space tk feather out onto a sanded area and not chip off .

    The tack style furniture risers work nicely on the Veneer topped wood. I grabbed a pack from Home Depot. I really like the raw wood look on the drawer faces with the tan color. Nice Job! Ps. Where's your rubber mallet for those wood plugs?

    It turned out cuter then I expected. I bet you could've reused the wooden screw covers. I think this is worth at least $150. At least. It's hard for me to say. I worry that's not going to be fair to you if not a little more, but if be shocked if it doesn't sell for at least that.

    Can you do a whole video on your sprayer? I have the same one and I cannot seem to get the water/paint ratio and the dial level correct

    • @FurnitureFlippa
      @FurnitureFlippa  3 роки тому +1

      Of course! This gun is tricky with water-based poly, you will waste a lot I find. Every time you spray you need to start it before your project because it spits poly. I usually spray the wall for a complete seconds, and when you start spraying don't let go or it may spit to. I am sure I can explain better in a video, I will have to make one soon.
      And for the water amount, try to measure 10% for poly, and for paint I start with 10% and if it doesn't spray well I will add 5% at a time, sometimes I don't even measure for paint I just get the consistency I want.

    • @brittuceda2020
      @brittuceda2020 3 роки тому

      @@FurnitureFlippa thank you! I even used a velocity cup and it was larger than the one I saw a video for so I wasn't sure how fast it should be flowing, then when I tested the gun on some cardboard it was splattering no matter which level I had it on. I will try 10% and a video would be amazing! Most wagner videos out there don't focus on the water amount or the dial level and those are the most important parts I think!

    I like your method in painting you just slap that paint on swinging the brush that's how I paint as much as i want to paint all clean I can't great piece

  • @rashidakarrim9075
    @rashidakarrim9075 3 роки тому +1

    Love your work and simplistic style of making videos. Straight to the point, no bells and whistles. You said you used 3 coats of poly on this. How many times would that require you to refill yoir sprayer with poly. Ive stayed away from spraying poly and paint even because i feel it might use alot more product. I have a spray gun like yours just a different brand. Please guide me.

    • @FurnitureFlippa
      @FurnitureFlippa  3 роки тому

      I used the 500ml and added a tiny bit I had left from another can, I use more with my wagner cause it spits out poly before each spray. My homeright does not, but I am waiting on parts for the homeright!

    Yeah I have a desk that I painted before but it would always chip and now I'm planning of redecorating my room to Daisy theme last I painted it the colors mixed and somehow it turned out like a greenish blue color my theme is black and yellow the desk works great I just plan to clean all previous time I painted it off and this time make sure I'm painting it the right way so it won't chip or be the wrong color I plan to paint it black with daisy on it and then I don't think I'm ever going to paint it again my room was original sea themes my mom picked it it's been sea for like a long time years I hate it I'm sea sick like when I walk in my room I fell sea sick don't worry I plan to donate my sea decorations to my niece they are trying to move and I think she well like the sea theme
