I came across this video of Serban mentioning me as he was explaining how important it is to have the right studio monitors.

Wow, very cool video! Would love to see plenty more videos in the future! And yeah, while the SPL is an amazing box at what it does, it's definitely no replacement for having good ears and good monitoring. Very good point

@@asor8037 They were on Facebook and for the Recording Academy, so they're probably on their page somewhere. It was during Covid so you can probably find them if you search in 2020.

I don't remember taking him Adam speakers but Serban said I did when he was at Larry Gold's studio in Philly. So that had to be early 2000s. I'm thinking it was a two way monitor with a 7 or 8 inch woofer. Adam was a kinda new company then.

Pro X? Never heard of that Studio Monitor… I am curious now 😂

They are Proac monitors. it is a passive two way with a 6 inch woofer and soft dome tweeter. I don't think they make this model anymore. Proac improved it which changed it.

They are a hifi speaker that got into the pro market. They were never designed to be in the studio.
