Ross, I'm happy for you and wish you congratulations on your graduation. I've never seen a more charismatic and talented individual filled with more to give than you. You have such drive and great friends and family that support you and I eagerly look forward to see what you will be doing in the future. There's a lot out there to do. Don't spend it inside waiting. Go out there and grab it. I wish the best in 2016 and may everyday be a colour dodge day ^=^

Congrats on graduating Ross!! You are an inspiration to everyone, not just because of your amazing art but wonderful personality! My New Years resolution is to start investing more time in doing art and starting to do art digitally (you have really motivated me to not only begin drawing/painting digitally but also have a fresh, open mind to life). Another one of my New Years resolutions is to better myself as a person, when I found you on UA-cam, I saw how you shined with brilliance, not just in your art but you as a person (your personality and attitude toward life) and I aspire to achieve even half of the confidence and positive outlook you have. Thank you very much Ross for changing my perspective and life, opening my eyes to all the wonderful things in art and the world that I missed when I was stuck in a deep, dark hole of depression. After discovering you, I learned to love art and myself once more. I cannot express in words how much you have impacted my life for the better.
RossDraws has been a great impact on my life and has given me hope on my future. He is such a great model, I wish I could repay him for that. I hope he continues to be a great person and be happy.

Congrats on your graduation Ross, I hope it was everything you expected and deserved! My new years resolution is to try to make more time for me to work on my style and to move up in the art community. My plans are to go to a nice college where I can better my work and never feel like I have to work a day of my life. If I can get the chance to make my living through art in the world I know that I'll have a comfortable future. Congrats again and good luck moving into your new house and studio.
My new year resolutions are: To find my flaws and work on them (become a better artist) Take better take of my health (stop being lazy and hit the gym 4-5 times a week XD ) To set and create my portfolio and to start working as a freelancer! Question: when your two new tutorials are going to be available for purchase on your gumroad?
first of all ross congrats on your graduation!!! i am so happy for you, now all there is next for you its to go ahead and beyond, can't wait to see your designs everywhere!!! my new year resolutions are -get better at art in general (specially with character design) -buy a new tablet -get a job inside the game industry (duuuuuuuuuuuude i would give an arm for that art ross)
Congratulations Ross love your videos they are so cool. I'm young but I love art and they way you enjoy drawing your paintings is amazing. You are a big role model to me when it comes to art. So glad I found your channel. I never seen anyone so happy with COLOR DODGE but it is so cool the way you make them look. Keep up the good work. Hope to see your new studio and videos. My new year Resolution is to get better with my grades and to become more decent artist than I am now even though it will be a very hard challenge for me. To probably do this I am going to watch more artistic videos like yours and work on my art. I am going to also workout more to get myself in shape.
congrats Ross! I think you are an amazing in artist. seeing you do this makes me want to change my major back to animation. I love people seeing people doing what they love!
Congrats Ross! My new year resolution is to stop being lazy and practice a lot! I'll really do my best to improve my art this year! :-) You really inspire me! :-)
hey ross, congratz on your graduation. Goals: to not regret a single moment of this year. plans: to between all of the schoolwork not forget to enjoy life Ambition: to make some awesome school work i look back on with pride (i study game art:) )
Congrazt Ross!!!! My new year's resolution is to be more optimistic, hyped and happy and to get lucky one day on something exciting that could change my art life in a good way of course :D
Happy New Years and Congratulations!! You are amazing!!!!! My New Years resolution is ALWAYS art related, art is my life! This year my goal first and foremost is being more confident in my self and art, I have always thought that I am not good enough to do anything with my art, but I will make that my first goal! This ties in with the first goal, I have always wanted to start doing commissions and sell prints of my art, but I never have confidence because I always think my art isn't good enough, but I will try and change! I will continue to practice to keep learning and get better. For now the last goal is doing backgrounds! I feel confident in creating and designing characters, but I can't for the life of me draw backgrounds, so I need to practice practice practice! Thank you for being an awesome person and amazing artist! I always look forward to your videos, COLOR DODGE!
congratulations on graduating and have a happy new year!!!! also my resolutions are: - get a part time job - graduate high school - save up enough money to go to japan for my leavers -and start selling my art either at conventions or online
Congratulations Ross. Your setup was Awesome! My new years resolution is focused on self development. I'm focusing on improving and strengthening my skills and expanding my knowledge of artistic practices and stuff in general.
New Years resolution?! Keep practicing on my art. Continue to develop my IP (just ideas, concepts, history and characters and locations). Print my own art-book of it! Also, following every single artist on this video! OMG the quality and just cheer inspiration to be around such great people must be so awesome! Hope you have a great year! Cannot wait for what's next! :D
Congrats! you looked like you had so much fun! Your friends all had such amazing work too, you should have them show off more often. My new years resolution iis to get batter at drawing of course but also to take better care of my health. In the past few months when I'm working on projects or assignments I've noticed I really don't pay attention to what I'm eating or I don't go out enough. So now I'm training for my first half marathon. As for drawing, plan on continuing to fill a sketchbook each month, and I'm doing an independent study with a professor I really admire for character design. It's stuff I really started to do last year, but Looking forward to seeing it through this year.
Thanks so much Ross for your amazing videos! My Resolution is to become "Bolder" each and every day, to reach out and connect to people and push my art career as far as possible while trying to be the best person I can be for myself and my relationships.
Great episode! New years resolutions is to just enjoy my new friend and a new year with them sense last year sucked for me, and of course to draw every singel day!
Oh Ross I'm really so happy for you! That episode of your graduation is fantastic! WAAAA!! My New Years resolution is, well, working hard for reaching all my goals :D!! Because, also for me, art is in my life, and even in my future I swear!! ( This will happen!!)
I was smiling the whole time I was watching this! Congrats Ross! Fist bump 👊 My new years resolution is to draw and post something each day for every day of the year. I am currently on day 7 and loving it. Keep up the awesome work man!
Yaaaaaaaay! First episode of 2016!! Congratulation one more time! (I must have said you that 3 time or so already, but nevermind). I can't wait to follow your new adventures!! My resolutions for this year would be to make an awesome portfolio! Then to show it to the right people and I'd love to go overseas and meet my art friends from all over the world! Keep being awesome!
That's amazing congratulations from not just me but from all your fans and supporters! As an artist, my New Years Resolution is to improve my art and to be more creative when it comes to my art projects
congratulations on you graduation Ross!!! have fun at your new place, and keep amazing us with your work! one day I will buy a print, when a live alone!
oh man! i'm an illustration major at art center (5th term) and I've met Oriana and had class with Vahe and Scott too!! Ross you really inspire me especially as an entertainment art student at ACCD. Congrats Ross!! I hope you have a really successful and fulfilling career. (BTW i went to the grad show and seeing your wall was AMAZING, you literally created what it feels like to look at your art in a real space, INCREDIBLE) my New Year's Resolution is to work on getting an internship at Cartoon Network or Nick and also to take better care of my health.
My New Years resolution is to be better than I was last year, whether it be in art, in school, or in life generally. Hope you had a great time at your graduation and I wish I coulda been up by art center at the time to meet you live. Good luck, and happy new year :)
~GAAAAASSSSP~ But but Bambi is the only reason I watch these - I mean... :p Nah. Your tutorials are a whole package! Really appreciate all the effort you put into them. To the new year and new adventures! :D
Scott! He and his brother were teachers at the summer program when I took it! (I had Thomas, who is equally awesome!) Met Tim at open house as well, freaking designed a Batmobile!!! I'm sad to hear he's leaving Art Center and I'll never get the chance to be taught by him. :( Congrats Ross!!!
The dream of my childhood is a work in game development. This year I went to university and now I study on an industrial designer (in my country, Ukraine, is a very good option). It was much harder than I expected. That is why I want to overcome my laziness and work much more to reach the heights in the future. I want to thanks to this my family lived without worries. I also want to improve my English skills in order to better understand your videos and get them even more fun and inspiration for me! Because it is inspiration gives me the strength to move forward, not to be discouraged and to put more effort into my work.
Being positive about everything! Also scribble a sketch in my tiny sketchbook every day, learn new softwares, build fantasy realms aaand conquer the world! :) And congrats to you looks like it's been osom!!!
My New Years resolution is to be inspired by more artists and explore watercolor 8D Ah and I'm so happy I bought one of your Nima prints for Christmas and it came today!! It looks even more amazing irl ~
Happy new year Ross!!! This year's going to be a great one, I can just feel it!! I got four issues of my comic so planning on doing 5 issues this year, maybe a couple other comic projects as well, and make it out to the west coast and see the Pacific Ocean! My ambitions are of the grandest scale and really looking to get a publisher now that I've shown a steady work process! All the best this year Ross!!!
Congrats! I don't really make formal resolutions, but I am trying to draw and paint more again. I got tendinitis real bad and I also injured my back a while ago. That really took away from doing art. Trying to get back in.
My new years resolution is drawing everyday. I did it for a couple months last year, but I need to get back to it! Love your stuff and congrats on graduating!
congrats ross!! :^) your booth looked amazing bruhh hmm my new years resolutions aren't really properly figured out yet but they go along the lines of: stop worrying about little things so much, draw more (especially improve my grip on anatomy/poses!!) and of course drink more water!! but yeah i'm totally into the mindset that resolutions can be set at any time during the year so those are just 3 of them to focus on for now i mean who knows what 2016 will bring B^)
Congrats dude, and loving that Nima statuette! (Really wish you had focused on it bit more!) 2016 is the year that I want to remain motivated every day. I spent a lot of time on UA-cam in 2015, and no matter what you search--art, cooking, travel, photography, miniature Japanese candy kits--even the most niche hobby has a passionate expert. Watching UA-camrs beam with excitement about the things they love fills me with so much motivation. I want to harness that type of passion too!
New year's resolution is to get in gear and really hone in on practicing drawing ^^;; everything from rhythm to color choice!! I've come far but there's still so far to go. Congratulations on graduating!!
Congrats on graduating dude and thanks for the episode! As for New Years' resolutions, I'm aiming to break bad habits (procrastination) and improve overall in health and art.
my new years resolutions are: to improve my art and Photoshop skills specifically, do lots of performing auditions and work really hard. i plan to go to Japan later this year so one of my goals is having at least decent Japanese before I go-Love your work!!!
Congrats on graduating!! Everything looked awesome at your booth. Hope you're having a great new year so far. I'm doing okay, so far as new years resolutions go. I only have a few, but I don't want to have too many and overwhelm myself. I want to 1) (most importantly) draw more and improve certain areas of my art such as anatomy and environments, 2) I want to eat healthier (which a lot of people say, but j really want to) and last but not least 3) I want to work hard and get accepted into the college I want to attend.
Congratulations on graduating! My New Years Resolution is to just grab life by the balls, not worry about where the year will take me and to enjoy each moment as much as possible! Selling some artwork and getting a kick ass portfolio before the end of the year would be pretty cool too :D
AHH this is such a great episode congratulations again Ross!!! As for my resolutions and goals, I'm REALLY going to go all in with my art. I've just opened commissions (which was a resolution in itself omggg) I'm streaming my art and im just going to keep pushing and improving. I really want to finish at least 4 or 5 pieces a month that aren't just random sketches too lol. AND I wanna be like you and those other artists that have just TONS of little details in their work that make it amazing!
You came so far I'm glad I'm one of your very first subscriber. I just started doing art and I'm saving to bug art equipments. Your my inspiration thank you so much if you're seeing this
my New Years resolutions to get muscular, specifically abdominals to learn how to draw like Ross by supporting his patreon when I get a job before college to not let others mess up my inner zen of peace to become closer to the image I have of myself and to have fun in my last year of high school
I don't really have a new year resolution but I strive to be a better person this year. Spend more time with my little brothers, get better grades in school, have more workout breaks, eat less carbs, etc...
OMG congrats! I totally wish i could have gone to your show it looks so fun! My new year's resolutions are just to drink more water and DRAW MORE. I want to pump out a few new pieces for my portfolio review at the end of the month :D
New Years resolutions are: Goals: get to a university standard of art the year before I have to go to uni. Ambitions: not get kicked out my school Plans: not getting killed to death. I heard its detrimental to your health. CONGRATS ROSS
Man, I'm so happy for you! I didn't know you actually constructed the layout of your presentation yourself, that was pretty impressive! Also, Tim Flattery is the shit, can't believe you high-five SYKEd him! Hope you enjoy whatever's next for you, I'll be here watching :) (wow, that sounded really creepy) My New Years resolution is to work out more, and it is already going great, have been to the gym three times already this week and about to go again today. I can do freaking 60 pushups now!! (on my knees, but....you know, progress) Also, that POSTER IS SO FREAKING SWEET! I really really hope winning earlier doesn't make non eligible or something :P Anyways, have a great day!
I told myself I wouldn't make new years resolutions this year cause I, like so many others are pretty bad at keeping to them but I will try my very best to NOT procrastinate, especially when it comes to art. Ideally I'd like to start taking on private commissions this year so that would be my goal, painting every day is my plan and my ambitions is to do my very best so that I can get one step closer to achieving my dream! Great video! Definitely worth the wait :D
Wow, your graduation looked like a lot of fun!! My new years resolution is to get into my first choice program for illustration. If I can't do that, than I just want to keep improving my art and creating things to the best of my abilities!
For 2016, I want to work towards self discipline and having fun! 2015 taught me that there is no need for so much worry about succeeding and making it in the industry. It became work instead of fun and want to change that! So fun gives me life financially and personally. :)
My new years resolution this year is to keep improving all aspects of my art abilities. As well as to produce much more art frequently. I also plan on starting a live streaming channel sometime this year, I think it would be a lot of fun aaaaand hopefully freelance for one of my dream companies (I hope I'm not being too ambitious buut I can only hope for the best) Also Congrats on the graduation!!! Can't wait to see the stuff you put out this year!
decided few years ago that I dont do resolutions but instead do/try something new for a year so, did a year of spice, upped my spicy food tolerance brah!! year of cheese!!! may have gained a lil weight on that one! year of a beard!! and this year is year of trying whiskyyy!!! :D Congrats on graduating chap!! :)
Ahhh Tim Flattery! He's now the Entertainment Arts director at my college here in Detroit, I knew he had tons of connections but I never thought I'd see him in one of your videos! Ahaha he's got the same personality wherever he goes
Amazing set up! For 2016 I plan to finish a portfolio book and aim to wrap up my late mom's art image inventory so I can fully focus on getting work in the commercial illustration industry!
Basically, my New Year's Resolutions are to do lots of exercise! (because 'healthy' isn't exactly my second name haha), to get more involved with my family and to become a better artist by getting the discipline to work hard and drawing everyday (maybe, in some future I could start selling my work, who knows?) But honestly, I'm saving money to buy one of your prints because every time I see your art I get this huge spark of motivation. I just wanted you to know that your work is truly inspirational Ross, please keep sharing your awesome talent with us (:
Congratulations dude! your exhibition show was incredible. my new years resolution is to paint more, I know it sounds cliché but watching art videos actually seriously helps xx
My new years resolution is to practice alot on my art. To get better at hand and get and also drawing different positions of the body. Also I want to try an be consistent and disciplined. I want to grow in my traditional at before I do digital. On top of that, I started working out and that is because in two years I'm entering in a pageant with my friends and I want to look my best.

To set and create my portfolio and to start working as a freelancer!

My new year's resolution is to be more optimistic, hyped and happy and to get lucky one day on something exciting that could change my art life in a good way of course :D
Grats on graduating! My resolutions are to watch more RossDraws and to actually start drawing/painting something everyday.
I always look forward to your videos, COLOR DODGE!
congratulations on graduating and have a happy new year!!!!
also my resolutions are:
- get a part time job
- graduate high school
- save up enough money to go to japan for my leavers
-and start selling my art either at conventions or online
Congrats Ross!! My new year resolution is to keep pushing myself more with new art techniques 🎉🙌

As an artist, my New Years Resolution is to improve my art and to be more creative when it comes to my art projects

oh man! i'm an illustration major at art center (5th term) and I've met Oriana and had class with Vahe and Scott too!! Ross you really inspire me especially as an entertainment art student at ACCD. Congrats Ross!! I hope you have a really successful and fulfilling career. (BTW i went to the grad show and seeing your wall was AMAZING, you literally created what it feels like to look at your art in a real space, INCREDIBLE)
my New Year's Resolution is to work on getting an internship at Cartoon Network or Nick and also to take better care of my health.
My New Years resolution is to be better than I was last year, whether it be in art, in school, or in life generally. Hope you had a great time at your graduation and I wish I coulda been up by art center at the time to meet you live. Good luck, and happy new year :)
My new years resolution is to fill up one sketchbook a month! Love ya Ross you're the best and grats on graduating! :D
~GAAAAASSSSP~ But but Bambi is the only reason I watch these - I mean... :p Nah. Your tutorials are a whole package! Really appreciate all the effort you put into them. To the new year and new adventures! :D
+Ristro44 No worries! Milo is coming :)
And congrats to you looks like it's been osom!!!
My New Years resolution is to be inspired by more artists and explore watercolor 8D
Ah and I'm so happy I bought one of your Nima prints for Christmas and it came today!! It looks even more amazing irl ~
my new years resolution is to up my colour game and improve in drawing overall. I'm getting better at colouring and i feel quite happy about it!
Your booth was soo DELICIOUS!! My My resolution is to considerate more on design and painting this year
:^) your booth looked amazing bruhh
hmm my new years resolutions aren't really properly figured out yet but they go along the lines of: stop worrying about little things so much, draw more (especially improve my grip on anatomy/poses!!) and of course drink more water!!
but yeah i'm totally into the mindset that resolutions can be set at any time during the year so those are just 3 of them to focus on for now
i mean who knows what 2016 will bring B^)
Congrats dude, and loving that Nima statuette! (Really wish you had focused on it bit more!)
2016 is the year that I want to remain motivated every day.
As for New Years' resolutions, I'm aiming to break bad habits (procrastination) and improve overall in health and art.
congratulations! hope we'll be seeing more artworks uploaded from you now!
my new years resolutions are: to improve my art and Photoshop skills specifically, do lots of performing auditions and work really hard. i plan to go to Japan later this year so one of my goals is having at least decent Japanese before I go-Love your work!!!
Congrats on the graduation dude! :D Can't wait to see more of your work out there in the professional scene
Your my inspiration thank you so much if you're seeing this
my New Years resolutions
to get muscular, specifically abdominals
to learn how to draw like Ross by supporting his patreon when I get a job before college
to not let others mess up my inner zen of peace
to become closer to the image I have of myself
and to have fun in my last year of high school
I don't really have a new year resolution but I strive to be a better person this year. Spend more time with my little brothers, get better grades in school, have more workout breaks, eat less carbs, etc...
Congratulations Ross & best of luck for bright future ahead.
OMG congrats! I totally wish i could have gone to your show it looks so fun!
My new year's resolutions are just to drink more water and DRAW MORE. I want to pump out a few new pieces for my portfolio review at the end of the month :D
My new year's resolution is to draw something at least once a day :) (concepts, exercises, etc.). Congrats man! Another great video.
New Years resolutions are:
Goals: get to a university standard of art the year before I have to go to uni.
Ambitions: not get kicked out my school
Plans: not getting killed to death. I heard its detrimental to your health.
CONGRATS ROSS
Man, I'm so happy for you! I didn't know you actually constructed the layout of your presentation yourself, that was pretty impressive! Also, Tim Flattery is the shit, can't believe you high-five SYKEd him! Hope you enjoy whatever's next for you, I'll be here watching :) (wow, that sounded really creepy)
My New Years resolution is to work out more, and it is already going great, have been to the gym three times already this week and about to go again today. I can do freaking 60 pushups now!! (on my knees, but....you know, progress) Also, that POSTER IS SO FREAKING SWEET! I really really hope winning earlier doesn't make non eligible or something :P
Anyways, have a great day!
Pfffffttt. My new years resolution is to actually follow through with a new years resolution for once in my life!!!
Wow, your graduation looked like a lot of fun!! My new years resolution is to get into my first choice program for illustration. If I can't do that, than I just want to keep improving my art and creating things to the best of my abilities!
Art Center is so awesome!!! Beautiful campus and amazing works of art. :)
I also plan on starting a live streaming channel sometime this year, I think it would be a lot of fun aaaaand hopefully freelance for one of my dream companies (I hope I'm not being too ambitious buut I can only hope for the best)
Also Congrats on the graduation!!!
Congrats for your graduation...
This year I want to draw more and improve as much as I can!!...
Really enjoy your videos men.
(because 'healthy' isn't exactly my second name haha), to get more involved with my family and to become a better artist by getting the discipline to work hard and drawing everyday (maybe, in some future I could start selling my work, who knows?)
But honestly, I'm saving money to buy one of your prints because every time I see your art I get this huge spark of motivation. I just wanted you to know that your work is truly inspirational Ross, please keep sharing your awesome talent with us (:
Congratulations dude! your exhibition show was incredible. my new years resolution is to paint more, I know it sounds cliché but watching art videos actually seriously helps xx
I got my first Wacom tablet so my New Years resolution is to get better with it and to spend more time learning the basics of painting. 😁
Wooow looks so super freaking cool man!!! Love the lights and the fake plants haha. Well my new years resolution: I definitly need to draw more and fill up more sketchbooks and try to get more projects and commisions and yeah get more in shape I guess! :D :D :)
WHY ARE ALL THESE PEOPLE SO GOSH DARN TALENTED!?
