The problem is that those people are the people that listen to whatever is popular so if pop punk makes a comeback they’ll listen to it as long as it’s mainstream. What gets me is the fact that pop artists attempting to bring rock back into the mainstream never bother even shouting out these underground bands instead it’s all hate (mgk dissing Slipknot recently for example).
