How Intentional Timber Stand Improvement (TSI) Benefits All Wildlife

Timber Stand Improvement (TSI) is a great management tool for improving the quality of timber on your property or creating and improving wildlife habitat. We're looking at how making intentional decisions when running a chainsaw while doing TSI can result in the greatest possible benefit for all wildlife species from the charismatic game species we most often pursue like deer and turkeys as well as ruffed grouse and songbirds. A little sweat equity with a chainsaw during the wintertime can create habitat for which all wildlife will be thankful!
