This song is so powerful to me, I lost my wife to cancer just over a year ago, more time would have been wonderful 😔. Such an amazing song though, love your reaction vids, keep up the good work 🙌🏼

I think a casual or new listener of Rammstein might think this is different for them, but this a VERY traditional song. Majority of their albums have atleast 2 ballads of some sort with deep lyrics ,sometimes more. Till is a poet, with several published poetry books, so he loves that sorta stuff. Several of his poems were later turned into songs
Agreed, they've done mostly humorous videos so far so I think have the impression that's the norm, rather than deep and beautiful like this being typical for Rammstein

Hier haben wir ein weiteres wirkliches Meisterwerk von Rammstein. Ich habe mir das Video dutzende Male angesehen, es ist immer immer wieder schön und tief von Gefühlen und Symbolen. Es wird der Kreislauf des Lebens dargestellt. Deshalb wurde das Video auch vielleicht von der Kreisfilm GbR initiiert, wer weiß.
Die Bilder sind stark von Gefühlen. Die Stimme von Till gibt der visuellen Darstellung eine noch viel intensivere Wahrnehmung. Die Szene mit der Tochter ist ergreifend und berührt einen schön sehr. Alma, so heisst die Tochter im Video, hat einen solch starken Ausdruck in ihrem Gesicht, einfach nur schön.
Zum Kreislauf gehört natürlich die Geburt, etwar natürlicheres gibt es nicht. Ohne Geburt kein Leben, so einfach und klar.
Wir können uns nur alle auf weitere Videos und Lieder von Rammstein freuen.

Another thing that came to my the babies being put back in to the mother to be born again on earth and also coming back in a sense they died on earth and are now being born in the other world and their birth or rebirth on earth is them already starting to die because as soon as your born your dying..your dying to live or as Rammstein put it "Wir sterben weiter bis wir leben" "We keep dying until we live" because in a sense what we perceive as dying is us actually being born again into the other world that's why the girl in the end seems happy when she dies because she knows that her death here means her being born over there..if that makes any Sense?

My interpretation and thought was time goes on like a continuous cycle and those rare occasions when we are truly happy of course we want time to stop. The showing of the sand and hourglass ⌛ time keeps going and them showing the scenes reversing to me meant a desire to go back in time either to the moment of birth and start our lives over or to before we're even born saying no i don't even want to be born i want to go back before i was even conscious of my own existence and mortality. Them being blindfolded to me was no one knows whats going to happen in the future we don't know what kind of lives these babies are going to have.
once again: showing the scenes reversing does mean something completely different !!!

I don't understand why some people get so hyped up or even offended by other people's own personal opinions to a Rammstein song if it doesn't correlate with what they think the song I about..so basically they're right and your wrong....well to each his own...

Others may have mentioned this, but this theme of pleading for time to stay still "when the moment is most beautiful" is a reference to Faust and his deal with Mephistopheles. The condition that Faust may stay alive and acquire the knowledge of the world, only if he never becomes satisfied or complacent. The moment he wishes for things to stop for him, which happens when he meets Gretchen, is the moment that Mephistopheles claims his soul.

For me one of the most beautiful lyric songs by Rammstein, but also "DaleiLama" and "Spieluhr".
They write wonderful lyrics, unfortunately this is often overlooked by the music.

The song could also be directly connected to the band. So much suggests that it could be the last album.

I want to thank you for being one of the very few male reactors that didn't look shocked or horrified when they show the scenes of the women giving birth. I was already expecting to see a look of disgust or some comment on how they shouldn't show that. So thank you very much for being a mature adult

Now I expect for younger men to maybe overreact but I've seen full grown ass men with kids of their own sometimes act even more disgusted then the younger men...but what really gets me is when I see a female reactor make an expression of disgust or some negative comment? I'm like thinking this is a beautiful natural thing to bring life..I know not all agree but I think the fact that I as a female can have another human being growing inside me is to me the greatest joy in the world..of course after their born and you have to feed them and clean them..well that's a whole nother story! But their new song "Angst" ( means "fear") is also a good possibility to hear and see the storytelling.
I think, educated marine has a video of that masterpiece. 🤔
In my opinion, all their newer videos are like a story. Like someone said: Rosenrot, Ohne dich. But also Haifisch and Radio, I think.
I cried when I first saw this too.
I think having lost a loved one this time last year, it hit pretty close to home.

That wasn't CGI with them in the sand. They actually did get covered/blasted with sand.

The "figures" are often interpreted as the norns from old germanic mythology.
That was really, really good. The video was awesome and I like this side of them. I do like the epic stuff, the stuff that makes you think (thonk??). And yes, it gave me Sabaton vibes too. Also reminded me visually of Wardruna too. No complaints from me!

Whats wrong with piano versions... I Didn' make it to Montreal on the 21 but if you search for engel montreal 2022 they play a nice piano version which also brings band members to stage on rubber boats to set up for Auslander song... pretty kewl to see that. Qish I could have saw them

LOL, thanks for the fun comment, we know how to pronounce it, it's just than in English it would be pronounced different and we keep reverting to the English version, if you have been with us for a while you will know we often get names totally incorrect.
As for the piano version, nothing wrong with it at all, we put out a reaction to it last week and all the comments stated we picked the wrong version, we are also very good at picking the wrong versions of songs too .
We just have a bit of fun and always enjoy discovering new artists and music.

Yeah I rmember when Google 1st came out... you go to search for something and it took 10 seconds to find 4 results, now it takes less than a scond and returns 865 quad-zillion results... hence if I would like to see a certai reaction to a specufuc vid I try to remember to give Proper URL
