    i have to admit... +PowerDrift made me fall in love with bikes. i was used to city riding and i was absolutely satisfied and fullfilled by my HONDA Aviator. No gears. just accelerate as much as u want without the constant gear shifts and i totally used to LOTHE bikes. but then.. i found you guys. your videos. your editing and that thrill you guys created with those amazing visuals and music. you opened up the world of BIKE's for me. your video's sparked and ignited the fire in me for the love of these amazing beasts. and since then i havent looked back. sold my aviator and finally bought my own bike last week. THANKYOU for all the beautiful videos. LOVE YOUR WORK! Kudos to you all.

    Sudden increase in the music volume is really irritating, have to go back every time to listen clearly what they say because music and other noises interfere too much and also voices are muffled . Just trying to help you improve .

    Dear Sir,
    I need your help, actually I have bought bajaj Avenger 220 street last month. Pick up of the bike was not so powerful, I thought because it is a new bike after 1st service everything will be fine, but the problem remains the same. I have a friend who also has got the same bike 1 year ago, I drove his bike and I was surprised to see the pick up of the bike. Pick up was so powerful. I mean how is this possible, same engine same bike but the difference in the power of both the bikes was so big. He also drove my bike and he also felt the problem. He said the pick of the bike is dead. I talked with the mechanic in the showroom but he could not resolve the issue. Is there anything with the AFR nut? Plz help Sir. Waiting for your response.

    I've had the Cruise 220 for over two weeks now, and with an average run of 80 km per day in the city, I've had no issues so far. prior to the first service it gave me around 35 kmpl, yet to test after the service. The seats are very comfortable but it may be a little tiring if you carry a pillion around, not when you're riding alone. Pretty much true to the slogan of Feel Like God.

    +PowerDrift nice video!
    I want to buy 150cc. i am a beginner and i am much confused if i have to go with 220cc..I mostly use it in cities and very few (3to4times a year) highway rides(to my home -250kms). I am more concerned about mileage and not speed..will 150cc be my best choice or 220?
    i am fine if my bike gives me 90kmph to 100 kmph on the highway rides which is very rare..
    is there anything (feature) that is better in 150cc than 220cc other than mileage ??

    Bought the Avenger 150 street this diwali. It feels real nice to drive around in the city, as well as on the highway in the little that I have spent with it till now. The best part for me apart from the comfortable riding experience, is the look of this bike, it's turning out to be a head turner, which I didn't expect at all. Wonderful video +PowerDrift , although I wish it was a bit more detailed & longer :)

      @powerdriftofficial  8 років тому +1

      Hey +Anurag Bhattacharya, congratulations on getting the all new Avenger! Do keep us posted with your experience with the bike :)
      Well, as we mentioned in the video this was shot with not a lot of time in hand. This is just the first ride report and a comprehensive review shall follow soon.

    • @aryanurag
      @aryanurag 8 років тому +1

      +Saketh Raman Well, I mostly use it for city commutes & occasional weekend highway rides, I'm not much of a high speed rider, so I find riding at 60-70 to be my comfort zone & the bike is real smooth at those speeds. But, I recently got the second service done & now it just milks into the 80's easily. 95 is the max that I have pushed the bike till date but that was before the second service & I could feel the vibrations creep in.
      Yes, there is an under-seat cabinet for with the tool-kit on the right side, but it's pretty compact & you can hardly fit anything else other than the basic tools that come with the bike.
      As for the illuminated switchgear, sorry you don't get those.

      Kader Mohideen so good you will feel no pain if your height less than 6 feet go for it , I'm owner of RE Himalayan and I really want to buy avenger but I'm 6 feet 3 linches and getting leg disturb in avenger
      Avenger is such great bike and before buying you take test ride .

    In your review you talk about comfort of cruise which is good as expected as being a cruise bike what about street comfort for long route i know it meant for highway but still how comfortable it is how you rate both bike for comfort level on long route and city as well..

    • @powerdriftofficial
      @powerdriftofficial  8 років тому

      +kush ludhwani The Street on the highway with that optional windscreen will be a good option but those low handlebars will tire you out. On the other hand the Cruise in the city will be a tad bit difficult to ride because of the handlebars and the long wheelbase!

    As called out I really wish to see a bigger engine (400CC to start with), fatter tank, tubeless tyres, ABS, projector headlamp, LED tail lights, rear disc... that would be an awesome machine and Bajaj could give HD 750 a run for its money

      Akshay Rane 150 easy to ride in city but 220 cruise is not
      cruise is fun in highway
      if you want to daily ride in city go for street 150 or 220.
      but there is a condition want mileage go for 150 or want more power than 150 go for 220.

      If you just leave out that cult status that the bullet has... if practicality is what you're looking for then these Avengers are awesome bikes.
      they can hold good highway speeds, comfortable, are pretty frugal and they just don't give up on you. My brother and his friends took bullet and Avemger to Laddakh from Delhi and back... Avenger was the bike that surprised everyone with the way it performed throughout the journey and everyone fell in love with it... mind you all were bullet lovers.

    another good vid
    no offense but i always see avengers as poor man's harley..but that is just me
    i have rode this bike, and boy the vibs north of 70 kph can make you worry to take it on longer rides. hope this is sorted in this version:)

    I always have a thing to cruise bikes but this just justice to "feel like GOD"
    i knw they want to address the masses so bike is missing on a bigger engine but the riding position looks really awkward ur knee is way closer to ur hand and they have upped the foam to make sitting taller.
    i hope they make a better one latter coz its certainly got the zing
    and boys on #noshavenovember like it.. cheers guys
    those gloves are awesome

    If I have to select only between the Avenger 220 cruise and avenger 220 street then which one would you suggest? My daily commute is about 40 kms and weekend trips to pune/bangalore/coimbatore. Also, sometimes travel to the hills so want something which can handle the mountain terrain easily. I like the street and the cruise but as per bajaj, they say cruise is more for the traveller types. My height is about 5.10 and im on the heavier side. So which one would you suggest as my weekend trips are a must.

    • @powerdriftofficial
      @powerdriftofficial  8 років тому

      +navin peters We'd suggest the Cruise for a more relaxed riding position. The street as the name suggests is more for daily city commute.

      +PowerDrift Thanks for your reply. Just one query I had was that in between avenger street 220, avenger cruise and the thunderbird 350 which should one go for? My daily commute is about 40 kms and occasional weekend trips to pune and bangalore. My height is about 5.10 and im on the heavier side. Can you pleasesuggest which bike should I go for? I heard Thunderbird has lot of oil leakage and tyre noise issues and also has frequent breakdowns, is that true? I dont want to spend too much on servicing and repairs. But, since im on the heavy side Im looking at thunderbird. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks

    Hey guys, always loved your videos. Keep up the good work.
    I am a college student and have a daily commute of 20kms, 600kms monthly. I am not a sedate rider and like to hear the exhaust note many times. according to what I've heard from 220 users, it's very poor on mileage and some people are getting somewhere from 28-40(very rare). And when considering this, my fuel expenses will be very high.
    Which one should I go for? 220 or the 150? Will the 150 feel underpowered after a while or should I go for the mighty fuel guzzler 220?

    • @powerdriftofficial
      @powerdriftofficial  8 років тому

      +Issac Abraham Although the 150cc is low on power figures, it is a better bike than the 220cc Avengers. Refined, smooth & peppy. Also, it will give our greater fuel efficiency!

    is that street 150 is good for a ride in the higher mountain road like shimla to laddakh ride- a tour in the ladakh from chandigarrh to ladakh throu kargil ------------- i am asking this cause some saying that its the same engine as pulser 150 but less powerfull - ?

    • @Hodophile920
      @Hodophile920 8 років тому

      as an owner, NO! still lacks in power, slippery on wet surfaces, Rear Brakes not good. with a pillion, climbing a mountain seems like pushing the engine through its limit.

    hello. I need to know 1 and only one thing... is the 150 street suitable for highway rides stretching to 100-150 km 1nce or twice a month, or we have to go for the 220.
    am a daily commuter of 25 km a side currently.

    • @GeistTrance
      @GeistTrance 7 років тому +1

      Yatendra Mohan Goyal the 150 is not suitable on an avenger because it has wider tires and it won't touch 80 km easily on highway. 220 street is better for daily commuting.
