Hi Shelley! I think Uber is fairy new here. I have heard there are not many cars available but when there are, they are reportedly very clean and newer vehicles. I will try in the new year!
@monalahey9257 yes, my understanding is that it is a fairly new service here. I still haven't tried it - walking and colectivos are my main transportation here. Thank you for watching and let us know how it goes when you try it!!!
Thank you!!! I have not tried the train yet. Hopefully, in the new year. I'm really curious about it. Puerto Morelos is awesome. Thanks for watching ❤️
@marieklyne2722 I use Bell for my provider. If you happen to be an Aeroplan points collector, you get a sign up bonus as well as a discount on the monthly rate. I think Rogers has a Mexico plan and possibly Virgin Mobile. Thank you for watching 🥰
I do not keep my place year round. I usually arrange with my property manager around February for the following year, but we have a four season relationship now, so we know each other well now. I just don't want the responsibility of having to worry about my place for the six months I'm not here. Thank you for watching!!!
@forrestgump5605 I usually pay my bills with cash at the OXXO. There is a small charge for doing this but it's nominal. The water bill and the electric are usually just a paper bill stuck in my door. The internet I go online to get it. The electric I can get online as well. Thank you for watching!!!
GEEZ what the heck do you eat?? I don't see how I could possibly spend that much on food.. Is it for two people? Sorry I was just surprised and I have not watched your channel before..
Her cell phone bill is $120 while most Mexicans spend about $10, rent for $900 is definitely gringo's price. I used to live in CDMX, Morelia, PV...haven't yet spent more than $500 for rent; mostly through Mexican friends.
Yes, I explained the cell phone plan difference in the video and that you can pay much less than I do. It's a personal choice for me because I need the 2 step verification. In my beach, tourist town, with today's prices, which have escalated greatly everywhere in the world in the last few years, my rent is very reasonable given that I have a private pool. Thank you for watching.

Shelley do you keep your place all year round? Even if you go to Canada for 6 months?

@@Whatarewedoingtoday2021 thank you!
How do you pay your bills? Online or cash or check? Do you get a paper bill in the mailbox?

I eat really good food and I don't mind spending the money to get that. Of course, everyone's tastes are different. Thank you for watching.
