That came out real nice. Over hear in the North east, freezing temps cause alot of cracking in the winter months. So masons like my dad will use aggregate first, and then concrete over it. He also used the helicopter alot, but I don't remember if the helicopter was just for foundations, or also concrete driveways.

Hi Antony. You're a bit quiet. you guys in lockdown? If you are I hope you and yours stay safe. Over this side of the pond, its all getting very serious. Most self employed and contractors are shut down, I'm still working because i'm just lucky how the jobs have fallen, I can keep away from people and don't need much in the way of materials.
I'm struck here by many little acts of kindness and generosity. Yesterday, an unknown person left a £5 bill stuck to my van as a little support, I've a fairly big van so plenty of space for any other bills that people don't feel they need, I'll even supply the sticky tape too. :-)
Anyways, It'll come to an end sometime. Whats the feeling over there? What do other subscribers think?

Listen closely to his explanations and reasoning behind why he's doing something a certain way. You have picked a great time to get into the trades. Starting at 18 allows you to play the long game and build a successful career in construction.
