The combination of the narrating and quality of work is what makes these videos great. I'm not in the concrete field but really enjoy the vids! Good stuff Anthony 👍🏼
Anthony my friend !!!! U n Javier doing what u guys do best !!!!! U on the bobcat n Javier n his helper killing it on the cement !!!! Beautiful work Anthony badass as work !!!! My friend !!!!👍
Forget the Hollywood stars - Anthony should buy a mini-bus and run Best of The West sightseeing tours of his legendary flatwork. Recorded commentary, cold beers, souvenir trowel and t-shirt package.
That came out real nice. Over hear in the North east, freezing temps cause alot of cracking in the winter months. So masons like my dad will use aggregate first, and then concrete over it. He also used the helicopter alot, but I don't remember if the helicopter was just for foundations, or also concrete driveways.
Im A full time Tattoo Artist dont Know Anything About concrete or any thing About construction.. But this video's are of the hook got me watching them one after Another you got A new subscriber bro stay blessed🙏.
YEAH man ... loving this vid came up in this other UA-cam account too. all the vids are fun to rewatch. Hope your week is starting off great ... HELLO from Tuesday December 28, 2021. 31.k subs
I have to say it's relaxing to watch this and it's like looking at art when seeing the finished product. One day I would love to do my driveway like that. As a small businessman myself, let me say great job and continued good luck.
To all the people that think that they can finish concrete themselves because finishers like this guy make it look easy trust me you gotta be experienced and it's a tough job pay someone that knows or pay him to break it pour it again afterwards your decision
Anthony, the credits to Javier are well deserved. You may consider to run written credits at the end with all collaborators and their job. It will be a nice acknowledgment.
Just curious why you dont properly prepare the grade ? Pouring on dirt is less ideal. I always bring roadbase or crushed back on all my Jobs depending on drainage and tamper down . Reason I ask Is you do quality work .
How much do you guys charge for this? My driveway seems to be similarly sized and I've been remodeling a previous hoarders house so trying to do as much of this myself. I'm in Colorado, so just curious as to how much the best in the west charges for something like this!
Another cracking instillation bro, was gunna ask what mix design do you use? As mentioned in one of your comments looks like moulded clay, the finish unreal 💥
I agree small jobs to add up !! But being in pennsylvannia with the freeze thaw doing residential driveways unless you write in your contract about using rock salt or other de icers you can lose alot of money !
As long as there's work, we'll keep working. The tough don't stop. Guys like you are thankful for the work you have while a lot of people are complaining that they have to work during this "crisis".
Hi Antony. You're a bit quiet. you guys in lockdown? If you are I hope you and yours stay safe. Over this side of the pond, its all getting very serious. Most self employed and contractors are shut down, I'm still working because i'm just lucky how the jobs have fallen, I can keep away from people and don't need much in the way of materials. I'm struck here by many little acts of kindness and generosity. Yesterday, an unknown person left a £5 bill stuck to my van as a little support, I've a fairly big van so plenty of space for any other bills that people don't feel they need, I'll even supply the sticky tape too. :-) Anyways, It'll come to an end sometime. Whats the feeling over there? What do other subscribers think?
Hey Andrew! Thank you for informing us on what it's like where you live. I haven't missed a beat over here. The rain is slowing me down more than anything. Take care of yourself 😁
I’m 18 years old and I’ve been working construction for 1 or 2 years and I’ve been wanting to do cement and do cement for a living, could you please possibly help me????
Right on Jose. You are already on the right track. Keep watching Mark's videos and try to pick up on the tips and tricks he shows in his videos. You can learn a lot just through watching. Listen closely to his explanations and reasoning behind why he's doing something a certain way. You have picked a great time to get into the trades. Starting at 18 allows you to play the long game and build a successful career in construction.
Nice job. Love watching your videos. I have a small Contracting company in Pittsburgh with small crew 10 yr in biz, I learn good tips from you. thanks. And what u said about small job being filler jobs. Same thing with us too. Same with the low risk ,and your in and out and paid. Alot of guys are just so hard headed they cant expect that fact that there doing a smaller job, but yet mostly more lucrative.

Very nice job. I am in the process of getting quotes for 160 sq yds. Consisting of a double driveway, new font porch, and about 1/2 of the rest in the backyard (as as a patio slab). What kind of cost should I be expecting?

how do you decide on your crew? Are they full time hires or you only call them for specific jobs?
Both
Question: When your crew say "it's crap concrete". What's the solution?
No solution. Just keep a closer eye on it in the warmer months because it can blow up on you.
The rich and the famous of L.A. will soon be ditching all their other status symbols to show off new flatwork from Anthony.

Don't do to residential roofing or concrete. Be good at it but don't do it for a living.
