Thank you!! I’ve used olive oil with a few drops of cinnamon and Clive essential oils mixed in a bowl. Lovely fall smell. I LOVE your choice of paper! Love ya!

I have done this with olive oil. I use colorful magazine pages, 1 and 2 sided. I dont print anything. So easy to do while watching tv. Even odd images work for this because after being treated, the image takes on an abstract look. Example: a colorful pic of a tractor or a bug or anything. Even solids take on a leatherish finish. Hope that makes sense.

This is the first technique I watched. The channel is ‘Book & Paper Arts’. I just love how abstract the designs get using glossy magazine pages. Last year I moved house and purged a large collection of old Martha Stewart magazines I had been saving. Why is it that every time I decide I need to purge, what ever i took to the recycle bin is something I should have saved! 😔😔😔. My friends & family all think I ‘hoard’; none of them are crafters! ☺️

Thank you for the detailed video. Perfect. Do you print on an INKJET or LASER printer? And a suggestion: from an earlier video, you mention GAYLE. But I don’t know who that is. Maybe put her full name or if you have a link to her particular MOMIGAMI video, add that in your description? I know you’re new to your channel and I think you’re doing well so far. Now to get some Jergen’s Rose Lotion.

Must be a laser printer, otherwise the moisture in the lotion would run the ink.
I just watched a video of someone who does not use lotion or hair conditioner (anything with a humectant in it works, many use oil, but it’s not necessary)

Good Question! My papers take about 10-30 minutes to dry, depending on the air and heat source. if I put them in front of my space heater, it's dry in minutes. Most often I leave them in a breathtaking pile on my desk. A day later I smooth the papers and create another beautiful stack. They are just so pretty!
