Great video !!, can you please make a video on how to make your resume base on the certifications and skill you learned at wgu! Thanks I’m starting soon
for C# version feel kind of strange to take Oracle to get certification, any Microsoft certification can be transfer to these C# courses? and cloud foundations, any Microsoft cloud certification , like Az-900 Az-500? thanks wondering if any of these Microsoft certifications can be transfer to wgu courses..
For entry level jobs I have noticed there are more openings for new or mid developers that have experience with c#. Entry to Java requires years of experience, more tailored to senior developers. Plus c# makes programming more than java, imo.
Not sure how the enrollment process works at WGU but is being accepted/admitted the same as being enrolled? I think making sure you are accepted into the program and then completing the ace courses would be a better approach.
@@alexsheppe That sounds about right. I contacted them earlier and they said being accepted and enrolled aren't the same thing. Students are able to transfer their credits after being accepted. But you can always withdraw once you find out that you have been accepted. Then complete the ACE courses and reapply again.
WGU currently only has a few tech Master Degrees: IT Management, Cybersecurity, and Data Analytics. I wish they would add Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence.
Can you study if you're outside of the US? Like for instance in my case I am based in the UK. I did finish high school in the US though, so my diploma is American.
Are you aware of any Universities / Colleges that do a similar program to WGU (such as getting a degree in 1 or 2 years) which accept international students?

Thank you for this content. I wish I had this before doing my degree for 3 full years :(
As someone hoping to accelerate through a software engineering degree at WGU these resources are invaluable, thank you!

Bro do you play OOTP? The hats give you away, lol. TY for the vids amigo.
Been like 4-5 years bur I use to! I wish they would come out with a football version. Any news on that?
How much more difficult would you say the c# courses are compared to the java courses?
All depends how much knowledge you have regarding C# but I’d say they are 40% more difficult and work.
If you complete a degree early at WGU, can you start on another degree for the same term?
Unfortunately no.

Just make sure you don’t get pressured about a start date. Can’t do any ace credit courses after your start date.

@@alexsheppe Thanks for responding
Can i do the ace base classes while im enrolled with WGU?
Unfortunately no, only before. You’d have to withdraw.
What do you think of “Ai will replace software engineers in 5 years”?
Not gonna happen but I do think Prompt Engineers will be more of a thing, with perhaps less SE’s.

Only U.S. citizen for WGU. There are online schools that accept international students, one is UMPI.
@@alexsheppe aghh what a shame...
