I have an 11-year-old Ford Figo and new gen latest Brezza automatic and have also driven a number of other cars, but the smile that my Ford Figo still manages to bring on my face every day, nothing has come close to it, also the OEM music system of Ford Figo is just phenomenal. And shockingly the plastic quality of 11 year old Figo is still many notches better than the latest Brezza. Its a shame Ford had to leave India.

I started from Toyota Qualis, that had best in class engine --- to Renault Duster, which had amazing suspension and now on Chevrolet Cruze 2.0 Diesel AT and the thrills it gives on the road is next level. it just gives the level of confidence that you feel you could take on any car on the road... Though its a high maintenance car and has given headaches along the way, the sweet pain is worthwhile......This blind trend of SUV SUV as you said has taken people away from the classiness of a Sedan..... test drove Virtus, Slavia and Honda City... they still are best in class...

Driving Ford Aspire Diesel since 2018, and cant describe the driving experience the car offers. Its way better then many of current cars. In a nutshell Ford Aspire Diesel is a Driver's car. I sensed pain in your voice when you talked about Endeavour,Duster...same can be said for fiat Linea...this is the pain of a true car enthusiast. We will never get better products till the time we are stuck up with resale value & kitna deti hai syndrome.

It has all features which other companies started talking about now like cruise, voice assist. Speakers are awesome, my sub woofer and amplifier from previous car was of no use (no need). I am selling it now as in NCR diesel older than 10 yrs is not allowed. This is the first car that i am selling and this feeling of see it go has overpowered the joy of buying a new car.

Using Honda Brio since 2012, still going great with performance and comfort. Driving comfort is next level... Rightly said Brio is still better than some of currently available hatchback cars in market. Honda should relaunch Brio in Indian market with some more boot space and it will be grand success for Honda.

Ford figo diesel performance and maintenance cost is unmatched, this conclusion I have arrived at after using at least 5 other Indian cars of different brands of the same range. Your analysing is very true regarding the Indian taste and like and dislikes.
Driving grand i10 asta petrol since 8 years and completed 1.86 lacs kms no problem at all best service by hyundai mostly driving on highways....what a car it is... will buy korean again no doubt. Will always consider value for money , quality product and best service.
I still have Global Ford Fiesta DCT and it's a real Batmobile, Best car with BMW 320d like handling and ride. DCT (Getrag) is the same which was used by Mercedes at the time, it has Cruise Control, Hill Hold, Hill Descent Control, ESP, Traction Control, Cabin made of Boron Steel and was 5 star GNCAP rated in 2012/2013 and all this was in mere Rs. 9.25 Lacs !!
You are spot on. But except Ford Endeavour 3.2 & Ecosports with Ecoboost engine would be the only one people will remember for long. Yes Micra CVT was very good but Auto Gearbox were not so popular Than. So People found it expensive by ₹1 lac+ & Nissan offered poor Service Stn Network. Duster did not offer good Interiors & feature list. BRIO too small & expensive

I have Nissan Terrano 2014 petrol, trust me it looks way premium but sturdy than today's new cars. As you correctly said, can't be beaten in terms of Suspension, space comfort and drive feeling.
Some other unique but recently-discontinued cars that should come back: Honda B-RV (only MPV offered by Honda in India till date), Maruti Suzuki S-Cross (Maruti's 4300mm crossover five-seater that looks like a Baleno but is as big as the Ertiga with huge rear-row space; perfect for owners with drivers). I think most people seeking Nissan Micra should look at Nissan Magnite. Yes, it's not a hatchback but it has the cheapest full automatic (CVT) in its segment.

Have done almost 50km km on highways and it handles everything very well and highly practical. I love the car so much that I can confidently ignore the cons..
I stared with Figo petrol, kept it for 5 years, upgraded to ecosport 1.5 petrol, kept it for 5, and then upgraded to xuv700 petrol. Mahindra comes close when compared to ride, handling and built of ford.

Hello, I own ford ecosport 1.5 diesel , gem of a car, companies poor campaign and failed to bridge gap between ecosport and endeavor have costed them. I have both the cars you mentioned & I am still using them. Nissan micra petrol manual 2013 & Ford aspire diesel titanium+ 2020. Both are gems & I will keep them as long as I can.
I had Scala from Renault disposed few months back after completing 10 years being diesel. I drove it for 1.40Lakh Km. This vehicle did not give me trouble even once in ten years. As far as performance concerned , it had best space , best average even in city drive with AC , best pick up, best suspension , best manoeuvrability . I would have continued with the same car had the rider of 10 years not there.
