Thanks for the review and personal knowledge that you possess. I personally believe that your arborist boots are best suited for your type of work. Thanks Bino. I remember when you first got your arborist boots. How time flies...
U know Bino. I'm a humble groundsman just barely making a living but I'm in it for the joy of the job and my quality team. I just put together a barebones recreational climbing kit rope, biners and a minimum harness. I'm just getting started on my off time just thrusting up to that first branch in the ponderosa forest here in my small town at 7k ft. I love your videos man. You got the heart of a tree. Thanks for just being yourself and giving us some love. My boots are $20 walmart Brhamas painted with red spray paint. In my previous life I was a white collar corporate project manager. Now I watch over my climber and throw snarly branches in a cranky rebuilt chipper. But I love the forest, I love the trees and I love my team. God bless America 🇺🇸.
When I was younger I used in expensive boots my self. To start slow is the best way to start. Having a chipper is better than having to cut everything small in the back of a pick up. Thank you!
Hi Bino. I'm so glad with your imppresion of these boots. I'm getting the exact same ones, that my boss is getting me. Awesome (all the best from a kiwi climber)
Thanks for the review Bino! Might I suggest for those climbers to have a roll of good Gorilla tape to give a couple of wraps at the top of their boots so not to snag the climbing rope with the metal cleats on the boots!
@@johnpineda2151 I like to go into a store and try boots on before I purchase for that reason. These boots were my first online order that I ever made for boots and it's pretty pricey . Make sure when you get the keep all of the information and package just incase they don't fit so you can send them back and get a different size. So far I haven't had an issue on both pair they fit great. Good luck!
I still have my old Westco boots. Don’t wear them that often so they have lasted about 40 years. My go to was Redwing but I liked the softer soles. Seemed to grip the bark on oak trees better than Vibram hard soles. 90% of my work is fine pruning without spurs. Where in California do you work?
Wow 40 years that's a long time. My first tree career was at Knott's Berry Farm and all of our work was fine pruning no spikes. I worked there for 18 1/2 years. I work for the City of Cerritos, I'm the Trees Supervisor. I been there for 18 years now.
@@BinoH that’s down South (near Long Beach?). I was asked to be the City Arborist but declined it. I like being independent and I need to climb. Keeps me fit and I like the job satisfaction.
Bino : hw are you ? saludos before I use them I put silcon very little like hair and puch in with finger on top of solé where it meet the leather, work good never split after git so many times like 3 times a week. Gracias por el video patron. Cuidate

Good tip. The ones on these boots are smooth and I haven't had a snag yet.
Bino great review! That hooded sweatshirt is cool I’m wondering what brand/where I could get it?
Thanks
Thank you, I couldn't find a tag on the hoodie. I was a gift but you can search on the internet and the pop up. Search Arborist Hoodie.
