Big scoops of gravel being loaded awesome cameras
Watching this video months later gotta be one of the top, I’m looking at the big scoops and the angles are nice. Like how the operator goes into the stockpile of gravel and gets a big scoop every time awesome. And Keep up the good work
I used to operate a Cat 980 before they had letters after the numbers. ( back in the eighties ) It was the best wheeled loader I ever operated. I wish mine had a weigh scale in it, would have made life that bit easier.
Awesome footage, like seeing gravel being loaded and handled, also like hearing the gravel hitting the truck.
Bad ass loader especially having a quick coupler on it
Almost every loader in that size here in Sweden have quick couplers, due to they use forks, crane and others when they arrive to a quarry for example
I'm glad I'm not alone in having videos soundbombed by stuff behind the camera :D
That's a huge loader!
Would not be that bad if it had been behind the camera, but it is in front. The excavator comes from the right side and passes the trucks. You can see it in the beginning.
@@RilleS88 Yeah, didn't see it trundle past at first.
A big problem here is that all serious basement work is done in solid rock, so anytime you try to record anything loading trucks, you know that there are going to be machines with hammers rhythmically tapping away just a few meters away and ruining most of the sound.
And also the wind. I hate when i get wind noise in my video's. It's hard on busy sites to get the sound right.
I've been very lucky with wind up until now, but I bought myself one of those fluffy wind protectors for the microphone. Though I've not even unpacked it yet.
I don´t use external mic, so i can´t use one of those fluffy things ;) I have to hope that when i find something interesting, that it isn´t a to windy day

Is this material going to be screened?
No, straight out on the road as a bottom layer, then they lay out another layer with 0-30mm on top of that before asphalt. That material in this video is 0-70mm
@@RilleS88 they call it 304 base here. 411 is the smaller version. i like the British measurements more than the American when it comes to gravy sizes

Volvo bucket on a Cat loader hehe, we got an 980M with a piece of shit Cat bucket. operators hate that machine
1st 90 seconds are unwatchable with that squealing metallic noise. Also if Larry the Loader driver here filled the bucket up properly on the second scoop, he could fill the truck and put the rest into the trailer. This would save one scoop per truck/trailer combo.
Yeah, i know. I thought about that noise, damn Liebherr! Wrong place at the wrong time ;)
the scale aint that accurate when putting half of it in one of the boxes, so if maxing out the loads they need to be on the mark.
You do know he is using the scale on the loader to weigh the bucket? It is called Payload Management you can print tickets with it.
