Fire & Rescue Program Update

Ian Harrell, Director of Fire and Rescue Programs, explains educational opportunities at Surry Community College. High school students can enroll in dual enrollment firefighter classes, tuition-free, through the Career & College Promise program.
Fire & Rescue certifications at SCC include: firefighter, technical rescuer hazardous materials, fire officer, and emergency vehicle driver training, as well as other specialty training.
