He didn’t just have an “off night.” It was a complete disaster, trump was smirking at him like a Cheshire Cat, which made me sick to my stomach. I couldn’t watch it, it was that bad. There’s no way he gets re-elected, sadly. I wish it weren’t so, but it essentially confirmed he doesn’t have what it takes to serve another 4 years. He’s not going to get any better. Maybe you can put some of it down to travel, or a cold, but he came across as being incompetent. He’s clearly not, but the optics are irreparable. The damage has been done.
