Great video as always, and beautiful jacket. Would be great to see a video on ties appropriate for sport jackets v ties appropriate for suits. I was interested to see Mark suggest what look like two printed ties with a sport jacket. I typically think of printed patterns as being more for suits, whereas twill stripes or grenadines (or non-silk ties) are better for sport jackets. But the exception to that rule being paisley, which I tend to think work marginally better for sport jackets. And maybe these ties are an exception as well, since they’re more casual printed patterns. Anyway, I’d be interested to hear how Mark thinks about this question. Thanks again!

Yes, good eye, I suggested two printed ties. I chose them for the colour and also the scale and spacing of the motif. I think rather than printed vs woven patterns are only part of the story. VERY generally speaking: you are more likely to find a suit in a smooth, fine fabric than a sport jacket hence I prefer finely and tightly patterned printed ties for a fine fabric suit and I wouldn't necessarily use them with a sport coat. Conversely, Sport coats are more often textured fabrics that lend themselves better to larger printed motifs (and paisleys).
Honestly, these are very, very general rules and of course if you feel like it's working for you then don't let the opinion of a man on the internet dismay you. You have parents for that.

Very nice video Mark, I liked the outfits with the grey & olive trousers.
I notice that you very rarely use light brown/tan leather shoes in your suggestions. How would you & the guys at The Armoury wear tan leather shoes?

It's a good observation ... I do like tan but I have yet to find a really great shade of it on a new pair of shoes. It's one of those things that looks much better aged than new. Also, in general I don't like shoes to be overly eye-catching, i.e. tan shoes + a dark suit.

Yo, really good. As usual. 😅 I have a completely unrelated question: How do I stop my shirt from getting un-tucked? I love the look, and it is essential for a dressed up vibe, obviously. But I seem to always be having to re-tuck my shirt anytime I sit down or bend over slightly or whathaveyou.... Is it a pants thing? Or a shirt thing? I THINK I have properly fitted clothes, although I've yet to visit a tailor.
    Any advice?

That is a good question. There are a few reasons why your shirts are untucking too easily. 1. Your shirt might not be long enough and so it's hard for the shirt to be held in place well by the trousers. 2. Your shirt and/or trouser is a bit too tight and it's being easily shifted out of place by your body as a result. My shirt typically has a little bit of slack vertically where it tucks into the waistband and so even if i'm moving around, it's just using up some of the slack rather than pulling itself out of the trouser. 3. You could simply adopt my sedentary lifestyle and move little to none.

Is that fabric available for a outerwear?

Unfortunately we used it all up for this run of jackets. As far as I know, it's not available as a cut length.
