Because the value of Solana is much higher than polkadot so the actual money gained from your rewards will likely be worth more from staking solana (of course you also had to spend more to get it in the first place). Really, you should invest in coins whose value you think will increase the most over time.
The staking reward changes depending on how many people stake but the range is labelled (10-12% for example). The price change is purely subject to market forces and is not linked.
How do you claim the rewards?

Only the amount you stake will be locked right so lets say if i have 5 solana and i stake 3 will i still be able to sell/trade the remaining 2 ?
