Big Bud Serial #3 pulling that planter that I cannot name brings back memories. You see, my father apparently had something to do with the name of that company. It goes back to an old scribbler company. . . . my father left this earth in 1997. . . . I love seeing you keeping the old Big Buds running. It is a tribute to your family to keep them running. Your mechanical ability is amazing. Have a great year. We are praying for rain for many farmers. I am retired in Calgary, Alberta. We also have wildfires in this province. It takes a lot of courage to be a farmer. Blessings from smokey Canada. 😊
We were in Shelby about 2 weeks ago, and went to those "hills" afterwards. We visited 9 national parks on our road trip, and between 2 of them, we ended up going right by your place! We stopped for gas in Shelby. Beautiful part of the country.
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Sorry you are having tractor and seeding cart problems. Glad you had the little bud to switch to and the other seeding cart. Go get em now. Time to get the wheat seeds in the ground. Problems at seeding time can be frustrating. You worked your way around them and off and going again. Hang in there. Bob, thanks for rundown on where the new houses sit and their views of the area. Always thought the mountains were closer. Interesting. Always enjoy you talking about the farm and the area. Appreciate the drone footage nick. You shoot some really beautiful areas around the farmstead. Thanks. I am hoping the parts you need for the seeding cart and the big bud hydraulic pump are correct when you get them. Got to be frustrating when the wrong part shows up. You have my blessings and prayers for rain and more moisture for your crops. God watch over you and the future crops. Glad the kids had the opportunity to ride in the tractor. Know that is hard and trying to run equipment. Appreciate the time you give them with the farm equipment. They never forget it. About it I guess. You all take care and be safe. Thanks for everything Welkers!!!! My prayers watch over you. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.
You know Bob, just prior to the 25 minute mark of the video, there is an opportunity to grab a beautiful screen shot of ongoing planting in front of Scott's New Home! Could be a great screen saver snapshot for the generations to come! -Bob...
Beautiful pictures of the sunset and fields and tractor and seeder. I remember when I was knee high how much I longed to ride with Dad and how much it meant to be with him.
I love the old big buds, just nice to see well made machine's being used, instead of being in debt for the new stuff that just has to much emissions garbage on it. G-d bless y'all.
After I got out of the defense force I went and worked on farms and enjoyed every moment of it you have good days and bad days but nothing beats working out in the open air, you guys make a great video, and is very enjoyable to watch
The closing drone shots, during the "golden hour," are just literally awe inspiring. You live and work in a beautiful place. Thanks for taking good care of it.
That drone footage of the Series 1 is AWSOME. It’s very cool to see old American Made iron back to work, tho we have a much smaller farm we still run a Farmall 656 gas as a field tractor and it’s still runs great after 2 overhauls and 10k plus hours.
The drone shots blew me away ... I thought your acres were dead flat so seeing how undulating it is was a surprise ... all round a very informative video ... thanks 👍👍🙂🙂
Very awesome seeing the older machinery still running so strong, don't make um like that anymore at all..I just backed the 1948 Ford 801 I was restoring out the shop today and had a coolant leak also lol had a bad hose clamp 🙄 hoping to have the finish mower hooked to and working in the fields grooming between crops by tomorrow 🙏 best wishes to y'all for a prospering year, sounding like gonna be a good year for rain
Beautiful scenery and you guys have an awesome crew coming up in a few years God bless and stay safe🙏💕🥰👍 very glad your feeling better Scott🙏🙏💕🥰👍 from 🇨🇦🥰
There are men like Leg Arm that have a natural talent in mechanical engineering My uncle was much the same given a mechanical problem he could engineer a solution ASAP without hardly breaking a sweat, It was in the fabrication of it he got the most Joy in seeing it come together. blessings.
What a glorious Montana sky! Drone footage is so fabulous, thanks for taking the time to do that Nick. Alwayd great when a Welker Farms video posts & your kids are as adorable as always. I remember wanting to ride with my Dad, but couldn't (no cabs on our tractors back then). Still praying for rain! God bless you all!
This new drone finally captures what it really looks like out this way. The action cameras we use are great for being rugged and simple but fail to give a grasp of depth and perspective.
Thanks for the videos. I'd like to see that 600 Bud pulling at least 100 feet of drill but justifying the cost would be the biggie. Wishing you folk all the best for a good season.
I have to be unique we've had as I call it drilling done, we run a small farm just 3 fields of wheat, oats and soybeans. Waiting on the crop to grow now. In the meantime we are clearing out this wooded area on our land so we can have better access to our fields. Can't wait to climb up in our old combine.
Man these droneshots in the end...always amazes me how vast and open your countryside is. Here in Germany everything is soooo tiny, hetergenous and well...dense. Greetings.
Thanks for the update, Scott I hope you got your house at a functional state. Sounds like you need to take a break from it. Hope you guys get some moisture this season
awsome show guys. it still amazes me that the trackers steer themselves. i first encountered that when i was hauling fertilizer in a nurse truck. that was back in 2006. i'm not a farmer but when i saw the crops that grew from the stuff i hauled, it was a great sense of joy. i had a part in that. man, what a feeling. i envy that lifestyle. anyways i cant wait to see the eagle rig and the others at work as well. thank you for your work. until next time... peace
I feel like NOONE has done more to keep Big Bud relevant and out there than you guys. In light of them now producing NEW Buds after all these years it would be really great if that was recognized and you were able to get a new model for your farm...FIRST OFF THE LINE if it was my company! Anyway appreciate the epic videos as always.
Watch your oil on the coolant leaker. If it's dropping a liner it won't appear milky from water right away but if the pyro is high it could be from water on one cylinder, the pistons usually blow up, the liners crack just below the compression ring on the top, the liners get really hot before the seals blow out and water gets in your oil, piston failure is usually close behind.
Hello Nick its great to see you spending time with your family even if its in a big bud seeding your fields they will learn more about farming then anywhere else
Well that happens when you first start planting. We had some problems when we started this year. But it will get better for y’all buddy!! Good luck and God Bless y’all!! From La.🙋🏼♂️👍
Hey there. To find an ac leak on automotive or tractors. Use a black light as there is a uv dye injected by law to make it easily identifiable for some states during inspection.
The Sunset was gorgeous, whatever camera you are using is phenomenal its like im standing there with you 👍 great video 2023 crop will be a bumper crop this year
Nick, you are a master with the drone, fabulous! Never noticed the windmill farm before, are those on your land? Cool seeing the next generation in the Bud.
Wow that view of the land is beautiful. I went to Billings Montana in the dead of winter in 2003. I said if I ever made it back to Southeast Alabama, I would never go north of the mason Dixon line. It is extremely too cold for me, but it is gorgeous country.
Great video of guys it's so nice to see you guys plant a crop I know you guys are real busy it's just so nice to see a video come out thank you God bless
Not gonna lie I'm a little envious that you guys can afford to have such nice old equipment and fancy stuff in it I can't even get a auto steere in my planting tractor lol still love seeing the big buds working ❤️ ❤️
Great video guys 👍👍. Leg arms glad you are feeling better take care. Drone shots are spectacular as always that sunset was beautiful. Still missing ole glory !!!
How do you guys like those tow between carts? I run tow behind and i love that i can see the whole drill, i ran one tow between for a buddy of mine and i absolutely couldn’t make myself like it. The finish looks better but not being able to see the toolbar just about drove me nuts haha.
You get used to it really quick, there's really no reason to see the middle of the drill, what ever is happening in the middle is happening on the outside as Nothing says good seed establishment like immediately sqiashing a 15t cart right over it, tow between all day Plus a far tighter turning circle with tow between carts
Thank you all and much respect for the way keep going to take care of us by your farming. Bob you raised a couple of good boys and there are sure are more on the way in the next generation. Glad to hear that Scott is feeling better and I hope that he will get thru this soon. Nick, I had to laugh when you said the Bud was 40 years old, where do you think you will be in a few short years, lol? Love the channel, thank you, take care and God bless one and all.
I agree with you about the boys there all on the same page I’m sure boys will be boys but bob raised them boys to love one another that’s how my family is money land pride just doesn’t get in the way that comes from the lord raising your family with our boss Jesus Christ
Hoping / praying for a good season for the farm. Thank you for the video. Nice to see the youngsters out riding with their dad. Miss those days, they grow up so fast it seems. Or am I just getting older faster? Take care - God Bless
Those drone shots at the end are absolutely beautiful. Especially the sunset.
absolutely
Came here to say the same thing.
👏🏻 and the music 🥰
Big Buds in their natural habitat: Big Sky Country. Beautiful. Lots of little, helping hands. What fun!
Actually big buds natural habitat is in the shop being worked on, they were never very reliable.

Watching the Big Buds at work 😊 I could quite happily watch them all day
Thank you very much for sharing
It is so good to see your children so excited about being with dad and around agriculture. God bless guys, praying for rain for all the farmers.
We were in Shelby about 2 weeks ago, and went to those "hills" afterwards. We visited 9 national parks on our road trip, and between 2 of them, we ended up going right by your place! We stopped for gas in Shelby. Beautiful part of the country.
It's a bummer that you were here too early in the year to experience Glacier National Park's spectacular Going to the Sun Road!
Awesome drone shots!
Neat seeing the kiddos having fun riding in the cab with you, Nick.
Thanks for the video.
Thanks for another great video.
It was interesting and enjoyable.
Sorry you are having tractor and seeding cart problems. Glad you had the little bud to switch to and the other seeding cart.

Hi welkers everyone from northwest Missouri hope planting goes better bud and tell leg arms he has a butieful homestead know congratulations
You know Bob, just prior to the 25 minute mark of the video, there is an opportunity to grab a beautiful screen shot of ongoing planting in front of Scott's New Home! Could be a great screen saver snapshot for the generations to come! -Bob...
Spent all day working up ground and getting tractors ready and oiled, if things go well will be planting tomorrow!!!
Beautiful drone footage. Scott’s house looks amazing
That was awesome setting with the tractor planting and the house in the background and I will say it again love them big buds
With 12 of those great drone shots you could make up your own calendars
Praying for rain. You look and sound good, Scott. Nick, too. Must be the energy to get planting.
Greetings from the UK. Fingers crossed for a successful 2023 harvest.
I'm really blown away with the aerial shots. It is truly a beautiful farm. Looking forward to more videos. Thanks.
Thank you for that sunset. It was absolutely fabulous and breathtaking.
After I got out of the defense force I went and worked on farms and enjoyed every moment of it you have good days and bad days but nothing beats working out in the open air, you guys make a great video, and is very enjoyable to watch
The drone footage was fabulous, especially with the house in the background!
Those drone shots were awesome! Especially against the mountain backdrop.
The closing drone shots, during the "golden hour," are just literally awe inspiring. You live and work in a beautiful place. Thanks for taking good care of it.

You guys are so good with the cameras. You walk and talk perfectly.
The drone shots blew me away ... I thought your acres were dead flat so seeing how undulating it is was a surprise ... all round a very informative video ... thanks 👍👍🙂🙂
Grandpa BIG BUD still doing the job! 👍🏻
Thanks a lot for the video! 😊👍🏻

Beautiful sunset shots-- --thank you!
I never really noticed the undulating ground your fields have. Hopefully all this seeding will reward you with an extremely bountiful harvest!!!
This new drone finally captures what it really looks like out this way. The action cameras we use are great for being rugged and simple but fail to give a grasp of depth and perspective.
Those drone shots really put the size of the fields in perspective.
You guys are very blessed with very scenic views, drone footage was incredible! Praying for a successful season
That series 3 with the Case cart and 70’ behind looks amazing👌🏻
Absolutely love the drone footage. Best thoughts for a bountiful season Welkers! Thanks for sharing
Hope you get to feeling better Soon Leg-Arms. Love watching Welker Farms videos. I live in Kansas.
Thanks for the videos.

Agreed! We need a new Bud on this farm before anything else!
Watch your oil on the coolant leaker. looking out of his house at that field is going to be ao nice i love looking at green fields with the wind
Hello Nick its great to see you spending time with your family even if its in a big bud seeding your fields they will learn more about farming then anywhere else

Grande... veramente grande mi piacerebbe stare lì a guardare questo spettacolo.... case quadtrac non ne hai piu
Yall live on a beautiful piece of Big sky country!! That sunset was beautiful!!
Looking good guys I would love to drive one of them big buds. Your buddy from Nebraska
Do you still have the old toolbars? If so you should run 3 tractors for planting that would be so cool
