This song has really touched my soul. 2023 was a rough year for me. I buried my mother the day before Mother's Day, 2 days later I found out I had stage 3 breast cancer, I had to have chemotherapy making my hair fall out, went through a lumpectomy only to find out there was more cancer and then had to have a mastectomy removing my left breast, then had to do more rounds of chemotherapy and then thinking I finally made it and I am done only to find out 2 weeks ago NOW I have to have radiation to complete my treatments!!! This song got me through my journey! Jesus NEVER left my side!!! And this song was a reminder from Jesus that He will never leave us nor forsake is!! Thank you for this song and reminder!! Thank you Jesus!

Things gradually improved and the brightest days of my life were in my future! At 76 as my Treasure and I celebrate our 54th anniversary, this beautiful song reminds me of where anyone should go when a person doesn’t have a prayer!
We were blessed with this song at Falls creek church camp as a teenager when point of Grace praised with us. At age 42 I still sing this when I don’t have a prayer and I’m feeling alone and I instantly feel the presence of Jesus holding me up.
