คราวนี้ขอเปลี่ยนหมอดีกว่า รู้สึกว่าไม่คืบหน้าเลย ให้รอตลอดแล้วเคล่าก็ป่วยบ่อยขึ้นและทุกครั้งเป็นนานขึ้นด้วย หลังจากที่ไปหามาครั้งที่แล้วก็ป่วยเลย ตั้งแต่ต้นเดือนเริ่มจากไอแบบมีเสมหะเยอะ ล้างจมูกก็ไม่มีอะไรออกมา ไอไม่มาก แต่มีเสมหะทุกครั้ง เลยโทรไปโรงพยาบาลขอเลื่อนนัดเร็วขึ้นอีกเดือนนึง สรุปว่าเค้าบอกว่าไม่มีคิวเลย ตอนแรกกะว่ารอก็ได้ แต่หลังจากไอมา 2 อาทิตย์ กินยาละลายเสมหะก็ไม่หาย เริ่มมีน้ำมูกออกเขียวนิดๆ ปนกับไอมีเสมหะ เป็นมาเกือบจะเดือนนึง เลยทนไม่ได้โทรหาโรงพยาบาลอีกทีนึง ขอนัดหมอเองเป็นแบบราคาเอกชนไปเลย เพราะแพลนไว้แล้วว่าจะผ่าแบบราคาเอกชน จะได้เลือกหมอไปด้วยเลย
พอไปถึงก็รอประมาณครึ่งชั่วโมงได้ เจอคุณหมอ มีอายุแล้ว ใจดี พูดจาดีมาก ต่างกับหมอคนแรกมาก ถามเรื่องอาการนอนกรน หายใจทางปากมั๊ย ป่วยบ่อย มีเสมหะ คุณหมอเลยขอดูหู เจ้าเคล่าร้องจ๊าก ยังไม่ได้ทำอะไรเลย แค่เอาไฟมาส่องดู หมอบอกมองไม่เห็นเพราะมีขี้หูเยอะอีกแล้ว เลยขอดูคอบ้าง บอกว่าทอนซิลบวมเยอะเหมือนกัน ดูฟิล์มที่เคยเอ๊กซเรย์มา อะดีนอยด์โตน่าจะ 80% ได้ ทำให้หายใจลำบาก มีน้ำในหู เลยแนะนำว่านัดผ่าเลย หลังจากผ่าแล้วชีวิตจะดีขึ้น จะป่วยน้อยลง น้ำในหูก็จะหายด้วย หมอบอกว่าก่อนโควิดหมอผ่าตัดอะดีนอยด์กับทอนซิลให้เด็กๆ มามากกว่าปีละ 500 คน ส่วนมากอายุ 3-5 ขวบ เป็นช่วงที่ป่วยบ่อย ไม่ต้องกังวล เดี๋ยวนี้ทันสมัย ผ่าตัดไม่มีเลือดออกแล้ว
หลังจากคุยเสร็จก็ไปนัดวันผ่า เอาใบส่งตัว ก่อนผ่า 2 อาทิตย์ต้องแข็งแรง ห้ามป่วยไข้ ไอ น้ำมูก เพราะจะอันตรายเวลาวางยาสลบ อาจจะติดเชื้อได้ อาทิตย์นึงก่อนผ่าต้องมาเจาะเลือด แอดมิทวันนึงก่อนผ่า ต้องตรวจโควิดทั้งแม่ทั้งลูก หลังผ่านอนโรงพยาบาลอีกคืนนึงแล้วก็กลับบ้านได้

วันนี้ไม่ต้องนัด มาเจาะเลือดก่อนผ่าตัด 1 สัปดาห์ มาถึงก็เข้าไปหาพยาบาลที่ห้อง เค้าก็จัดการทำเรื่องใก้ไปเจาะเลือดที่คลินิคข้างๆ พอเข้าไปถึงก็นั่งรอ มีเด็กน้อยยังไม่ถึงขวบนึงกำลังจะเข้าไปเจาะเลือด เคล่าบอกว่าไม่กลัวเลยๆ อีกซักพักมีเด็กผู้หญิงมานั่งรอเจาะเลือดเหมือนกัน น่าจะ 7-8 ขวบ กำลังร้องไห้กับแม่เพราะกลัว เคล่าบอกว่าไม่เห็นต้องกลัวเลย ไม่น่ากลัว เคล่าไม่ร้องไห้เลย พอถึงคิวเรา พยาบาลให้นั่งตักแม่ พอเค้าจับมือเท่านั้น ร้องไห้จ๊ากเลย รีบดึงมือกลับแทบไม่ทัน ร้องไห้อยู่นานจนพยาบาลบอกให้ออกไปทำใจข้างนอกก่อนนะ สักพักหายแล้วเลยกลับเข้ามา เจอจับมืออีก ร้องไห้ลั่น จนพยาบาลอีก 2 คนต้องเข้ามาช่วยกัน เลยกึ่งบังคับ ให้นั่งตักแบบกอดแม่เอาไว้แล้วก็เจาะเลือดที่หลังมือ เอาไป 2 หลอดใหญ่ๆ เลย พอเรียบร้อยก็สะอึกสะอื้น แต่พอได้สติกเกอร์ก็ดีขึ้น

After the last appointment, Kayla kept getting sick and the recent one last more than a month. I called the hospital to request to advance the appointment date but it was rejected as no available slot. At first I thought we can wait but after prolong sickness (all sleepless nights), I couldn't take it anymore. So we decided to change the doctor to private class (previously was under subsidy).
We got the appointment on the following day (so lucky). The doctor was so kind and experienced. He asked some questions about her snoring, her frequent sickness and all. Then he looked at her x-ray film and said the adenoids maybe about 80% larger than normal. He looked inside her mouth, her tonsils were swollen too. So he recommended for surgery. He explained that both adenoids and tonsils were lymph nodes that help to detect the virus and bacteria that come inside the body. But once both were infected it became the problem itself. The surgery is minor and not much bleeding.
After that we went to make appointment on the surgery date. 2 weeks before the surgery, Kayla has to be healthy and 1 week before surgery we need to come down for blood test. On the admission date, Kayla and mommy (staying with her at the hospital) must do COVID swab at the hospital first.

1 week before the surgery, we went back for blood test. When we arrived, we sat there and waited. There was a little boy who wasn't even a year old who was about to go in for a blood test. Kayla said she wasn't afraid at all. A little while later, there was a girl sitting and waiting for blood to be drawn as well, probably 7-8 years old, crying because she was scared. Again Kayla said that she didn't have to be afraid, there was nothing to be scared of and she wasn't afraid. When it was our turn, the nurse asked her to sit on my lap. Only when the nurse touched her hand, she cried and quickly pulled her hand back. She cried a lot until the nurse told us to go out and wait until she was ready. When we came back in she cried again so there were 2 other nurses came in to help hold her down. They took 2 big tubes of blood from her. After finished she got stickers which clam her down a little bit.

สอบถามหน่อยค่ะ ตอนนัดผ่าตัดน้องเป็นหวัดอยุ่ไหมค่ะ หรือหายแล้วกี่วันถึงนัดผ่า
เอาจริงๆ คุณหมอบอกว่าให้หายป่วยก่อนแล้วค่อยมาผ่า แต่คือน้องป่วยมาเป็นเดือนๆ ไม่มีทีท่าจะหาย เลยให้ผ่าเลย อาศัยกินยาแก้แพ้กับพ่นจมูกล้างจมูกทุกวันก่อนผ่าค่ะ
ค่ะ น้องมีน้ำมูก ไอ หรือมีเสมหะค่ะ พรุ่งนี้หมอนัดลูกชายแต่น้องมีไอกับเสมหะอยู่ รอบที่แล้วก็แอดมิทแต่คุณแม่ขอเลือน
ลองปรึกษาคุณหมอที่เค้าดมยาดูว่าทำได้รึเปล่าค่ะ เพราะตอนที่น้องเข้าผ่าตัดก็ยังมีคัดจมูก แต่ว่าไม่ไอค่ะ
