I have a question about a hadith I only know vaguely. I'd appreciate any input from the more learned. There was a hadith mentioned at some point in the seerah about Jibril AS being with the Prophet SAW and an angel interacted in some way with Rasulullah SAW. Jibril AS had seemed concerned and it was because he had been afraid that the prescence of this angel was a sign that the day of judgement had come. Does anyone recognise which hadith this is(and could you please link it)? Was this angel named? If by chance the angel was Israfil AS, could that be a secondary source that reinforces the belief of the general consensus that it is Israfil who wields the trumpet? Apologies, I'm not explaining this very well, but I remembered a bit about this just as I heard about the bit about there being no explicit evidence to tie Israfil AS to the trumpet.
Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "Allah will hold the whole earth, and roll all the heavens up in His Right Hand, and then He will say, 'I am the King; where are the kings of the earth?"' Sahih al-Bukhari 4812 What's this you said its fabricated can someone explain I am a bit confused
I am confused sheikh if israfil (sorry for the bad spelling) is known as the angel who blows the trumpet then which trumpet is he blowing & what purpose if the Quran & hadith doesn't explicitly mention he's the angel who blows the trumpet on judgement day? Hope you understand what I'm saying. Also I got confused on your comment on accepting Islamic knowledge from other sources than the Quran & sunnah I really don't understand this please clarify why that is important?? I thought the sources of Islam is just Quran & sunnah so I am confused now what you meant by what you said about accepting knowledge from sources other than Quran & sunnah I hope you understand me in what I am saying there.
While a Jew was selling goods, he was given something which he did not accept or he did not agree (to accept) that 'Abdul 'Azlz (one of the narrators) is doubtful about it. He (the Jew) said: By Allah, Who chose Moses (peace be upon him) among mankind. A person from the Ansar heard it and gave a blow at his face saying: (You have the audacity) to say: By Him Who chose Moses amongst mankind, whereas Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) is living amongst us. The Jew went to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said: Abu'l-Qasim, I am a Dhimmi and (thus need your protection) by a covenant, and added: Such and such person has given a blow upon my face. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Why did you give a blow on his face? He said: Allah's Messenger, this man said: By Him Who chose Moses (peace be upon him) amongst mankind, whereas you are living amongst us. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) became angry and signs of anger could be seen on his face, and then said: Don't make distinction amongst the Prophets of Allah. When the horn will be blown and whatever is in the heavens and the earth would swoon but he whom Allah grants exception, then another horn will be blown and I would be the first amongst those who would recover and Moses (peace be upon him) would be catching hold of the Throne and I do not know whether it is a compensation for that when he swooned on the Day of Tur or he would be resurrected before me and I do not say that anyone is more excellent than Yunus son of Matta (peace he upon him). sunnah.com/muslim/43/209

@Dr, Yasir Qadhi, assalamu alaikum! I have a question to ask, if any yahud or Christian follow their own books and acknowledge our prophet (sa) and they don't do any Haram or shirk like other non Muslim and if they also don't do prayers or other Muslim acts, will they be able to go jannah?
My brother this question was asked to Zakir Naik and he answered: The books of yahuud abd Christians are not completely correct they have been changed changed and changed. Absolutely not, Rasulullah sallahualayhiwasalam himself told us whoever hears of him whether Yahudi or Nasrani then doesn’t believe him will take his seat in the fire. There were Yahud who recognized he was the messenger of Allah but refused to enter Islam and submit to Allah aza wa jal by following him. They followed their own abrogated shariah. Despite recognizing there is no god but Allah, like Shaytan they rebelled against His command and refused to submit. This is distinct from a disobedient Muslim who at least submits by testifying their is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger who must be obeyed and who replaced all the commands previous prophets were sent with. Likewise anyone now who claims a new prophet has come with commands from Allah that replace what Rasulullah sallahualayhiwasalam was sent with is a disbeliever like the Jews. He has rejected the ayat of Allah and Allah says about those who reject His ayat that He will roast them in the fire of hell and replace their skins with fresh skins every single time the old skin gets burnt so they don’t cease to be in pain. 2:62 was an ayah revealed after Salman al Farsi asked Rasulullah sallahualayhiwasalam about the Christians he knew who would have followed Rasulullah sallahualayhiwasalam if they lived to see him. The ayah was then revealed giving the good news concerning them. Disbelieving in any prophet is disbelieving in Allah aza wa jal and in fact even more damning because this is His way of communicating with mankind. There are kuffar who received no messenger and might have an excuse for their disbelief in Allah through shirk or atheism but the ones who reject His Messenger have truly chosen to reject their Master! This is why this Ummah alone is half or two thirds of all of Jannah. Unfortunately most men and jinn disobey.
