We find out some really sad news and have to go somewhere unexpectedly. Grandma is having a really hard time, but first, we go to everyone's schools for a sweet surprise and then head out of town. This has a very sad ending. I'm so sorry Grandma.

Cancer is such a horrible disease. I lost my mom to cancer in 2002. Then in 2018 my husband's dad passed away from cancer. As hard as it was to lose my mom it was hard to lose him because he had such a close bond with my both my kids especially my daughter. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the whole family 🙏 ❤
I lost my mom to cancer in 2002. My son who is only a Sophomore in high school got diagnosed with Cancer in 2023. Luckily he seems to be doing better but we still have lots of appointments.
My sincere condolences, once more to all involved on the passing of your uncle.
Disease does not discriminate, and we all have an expiration date.
As for the presence at school for the mother's day celebration, it would have been a problem also with a smaller family. Often a grandmother or aunt is an acceptable alter native.

@@user-cs9kr2wl6n thank you very much!! Yes it’s been a long road. I have a very rare form of cancer that originated in my appendix and then spread through my entire abdomen. Until this year there hasn’t been any permanent successful treatments. But I stayed hopeful and have doing chemotherapy for 3 months and most recent ct scan shows my masses are shrinking!!!! It’s quite literally the best news I could ever receive both me and my oncologists were very surprised but happy of course!!! Take care and thanks for the nice comment!!

My Grandson who is about to turn 8 this August was diagnosed with Leukemia on his 7th Birthday, I understand your pain! Watching him go through Treatments and him losing all is hair. I recently lost my dad to pelvic cancer back in November (2023) and it is such a vicious and horrible disease. I just wanted to share because I thought I could use my situation to let you all know and anyone reading this that you are not alone. Grief and loss is a terrible things but you can get through this. The memories, thoughts and feelings never truly go away and you never truly “get over it” but you simply learn to deal and cope with it. ❤
Cancer sucks ' it takes the most beautiful angels. My grandma passed from cancer in 2002 and my momma passed away from a blood disorder in 2017 its never easy losing someone you love. I'm giving you all the biggest hugs. Sending healing loving hugs. ❤

I'm so sorry for your loss my deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family, just remember those good memories that you had of your uncle because they will stay with you forever. I realize that I love smooth rocks I always had as a kid and I remember one of my science classes that we had rocks sent to us from our family and I had some from Utah with candy so thank you for making me remember one of my favorite science classes I had in grade school. Sorry for your loss. Cancer took my mom and way to soon. She wrote diaries throughout my childhood and left them for me. They have been so healing and provide such comfort. My Nan was 96 when she passed and I made sure we talked every day. Her stories of her growing up and of my Mom as a child are part of my life now. I treasure the fact that her life is remembered through me and I tell my daughter her stories so they live on through her x
I am so happy you could go and see your uncle. It does help you transition, and it helps him to know he is loved and will be missed too. I do love the circles you find in life. as a new life comes in another goes on. He was greeted with even more joy and love when he crossed over. And he will be kept busy, but he will keep an eye on all of you. Hugs.

I lost my dad 7 years ago due to cancer. We went to Vegas to see him one last time on mother's day. My kids were so young, and he was able to tell us kids how much he loved us, and then when my mom walked in I could see how much love she really has for him, because she became his caregiver. The day before he passed I had a dream with him in it, and I believe that was his way of saying goodbye. Hugs to you and your family.
So sorry for your family’s loss. I lost my dad to cancer 2 years ago. And I agree with about the stories. I hold those stories close to my heart. Before my dad passed he was sharing stories with us. So hold those memories close and share them with the kids they will appreciate them in the future.

Cancer is truly cruel… I’ve lost too many family members to it. My dad had it twice, but thankfully has been in remission for many years now.
He lost his mom (my grandmother) to it when he was 2, and his mom was only 27.

I am so sorry to hear about y’all’s lose. Cancer absolutely sucks. It runs in my family on both my mom and dads side. Both of my grandmas passed away from cancer, one ovarian & the other bone and lung. A long with multiple aunts and uncles with cancer varying from breast, brain, throat, skin. I'm sorry for your loss. I've been battling colon cancer (dix occurrences) for 5 1/2 years, and have lost so many family members to it, so I know how horrible what you're going through is. Sending love and prayers to the whole family.
So sorry for your loss. My mother has three bouts with cancer and following the third episode she went into kidney failure. She had to go on dialysis on top of several other chronic health issues, and she eventually passed away three years later. Prayers uplifted for you all as you process and cope with this loss. Cancer is brutal in how it impacts not just the loved one who is going through it but the family as a whole. Hugs!

I’m so sorry. Cancer is the absolute worst, I lost my mom to cancer in 2021 when I was 24 and watching it take her from our family was the hardest thing especially at a young age and I don’t wish it upon my worst enemy. I’m sending all my love and prayers your way❤️
My older sister and brother in law were foster parents. They have had over 200 kids come through their lives. Like the old saying goes it takes a village to raise a child. All of our other siblings as well as other family members all helped with raising these kids. I have so many memories of all of them
