      Hes 30-7 now.
That's a great record in MMA.
He beat a prime RDA and possibly Poirier in their first fight which ended NC. But over a petty rule which was new. To knee a man bent over is a petty rule. Dustin needed an out so touched the ground with his finger and got ko'd. He wasnt down.
Fight 2- Eddie also was stood up while mounting Dustin for no good reason. Elbows on shoulders while he was mounting Dustin? Thats not illegal. Herb Dean screwed his chance to show he couldve possibly beat Dustin.
But Eddie isn't washed up if he's still winning fights against former champs. He beat Chandler 1x and Chandler beat him 1x. He has lost to only killers.

Yes he was winning with the standup, but he rushed in for the kill and showed that he needs to work on his ground game, and also shows his fight IQ needs to be worked on. He’s a really good striker though but Eddie’s ground game is high-level. I’m sure if they everything rematch , Eddie would use a lot more wrestling and I don’t know if this guy could handle the ground with Eddie. Because the difference between him and Eddie on the ground, it’s like a white belt grappling with a black belt. But like I said the guys got really good stand up. Would love to see what kind of adjustments, they both would make for a rematch.

He traps Folayang's right arm so he can't post on it then hooks under the left thigh and it's practically effortless. That kick sounded like a baseball bat, it’s definitely landed lmao. Eddie’s foot was fully planted too. So if Folayan was smarter and didn’t follow him to the ground, what is the next part of his plan lmao?

I think the one that deserves praise the most in this fight is the referee. He did a great job reffing this fight imo. He recognized that Eddie was still in the fight defending himself intelligently and he didn’t stop it prematurely like I know happens a lot. And it’s not an easy thing to be on top of either. Olivier Coste did a great job.
