Once I was complaining there are no great rock artist anymore. Someone who overheard me said two words. Those words were Jack and White. I had been waiting over twenty years for someone like him to come along and remind us what a rock star is suppose to be. This man is amazing and I hope he continues to do he wants to do, because whatever he does is pure genius.

watching jack white I get a small idea of what those girls in the 50s and 60s felt like when they were screaming at Elvis and the Beatles. They had just never seen anything like that. And I've never seen anything like Jack White.

I bet he doesn’t despise the big, fat check he’ll get for one show. The big shows pay big bucks! And he seems to be into the show so he keeps his feelings hidden well if it’s as you say.
@@dynjarren7523 I think that he sometimes complains about the people who don`t pay attention to the shows. He talks about that in some interviews. There is one very interesting with Conan O`Brien.

YES! I believe I heard Jack make that very statement on a late-night talk show. You and Jack are right of course. While there's a lot of halfway decent concert footage and other stuff gathered from shows with phones and little cameras and I will admit it's nice to have sometimes and it's nearly always interesting to be that 'fly-on-a-wall' but (and it's a big but Simone!). 90% of the time there are professionals who have recorded the same stuff for sale somewhere or let's face it it pops up online.

I'm trying to get tickets for a sold out show in Lisbon this summer. I have been waitning to see him for six years! But I've got to admit that he was a much better performer back in the 2000's. I can forgive the decrease in energy (he's getting older and has been playing for decades so it's bound to get less and less exciting) but the way his shows are organized are way too over the top. All he used to need was a guitar and a shy 'less than good' drummer to give an amazing show so these versions of the White Stripes songs sound so weird. The only person that should be playing with him is the drummer. (I find it funny that there is a bass player in Seven Nation Army). When it comes to his solo work, a few cuts on the band might be good too. It just sound like everyone is playing their own show, they are not in sync. Hope he is making some changes in this tour.

howlinwolfgangnester The "two piece" was The White Stripes, a band that Jack and his ex-wife Meg had. They dissolved The White Stripes ages ago, and Jack only tours as a solo artist now, although he's got that hiatus coming up and shit.

Jack white.. my idol, role model.. am fan of him since i was 13 years old.. but honestly, some songs are overplayed and some of them are missing that "JackWhite perfection"... his records are mindblowing literally, but maybe nowadays, he´s giving his fans to listen and expectations that aren´t going to be done. I absolutely love Jack White no matter his mistakes and stuff he is doing now, but if ypu are also a musician, you have to be realistic and admit that isn´t the same.. JW
