My thoughts on practical usage of the Varusteleka Terava Skrama and the Silky Nata 240 with firewood batoning demonstration. Sorry for the poor framing!
Very interesting detail on handle/scale comfort while chopping. I did not notice this mentioned in the comparo the Dutch Bushcraft guys did a year ago between the Silky Nata Tool and the custom made Malanika chopper (in Vanadis 4 steel I believe). The Malanika has the same basic shape as the Terava Skrama by the way. The Nata Tool outdid the Malanika in the small log chopping test (malanika took 36 seconds to chop through the log while the Nata Tool did it in 21 seconds if I remember correctly). I think if the handle on the nata tool could be improved, it would be an awesome chopping tool.
Good comparison between these two blades I have the skrama and it's very good...my 3 favorite choppers are the Schrade schf 43 Jessica X, Kershaw Camp 10,and the Terava Skrama 240
