That's one of the problem with the traffic rules in the philippines...we are so soft on the violators that they can do this..if this is the US it can add assault on the ticket and you must show on a specific date for the judge
If that thing happens here in CA USA, the cops will pull the driver out of the car, handcuff the driver, sent to jail then suspend or revoke the his license.
In other countries that will be assault! Window will be smashed driver will be pulled out of the car and get arrested. The mere fact car hit the enforcer even if it is just a light bump it will be battery of an officer. Congress MUST amend laws it may be harsh but it is needed for these kind of attitude by drivers.
its just a shame how these enforcers are not respected enough for them to assert their authority.... i know in other countries that's already an assault.....just sad
i know in other countries, their police will draw weapons (though not fire), and order the driver to step out, and arrests will be made if you attempt to ram an officer or evade/resist or flee i think even just USA police body cam videos, we see those who are pulled over, flee, and are arrested after for fleeing (even if the initial violation was trivial, like no broken headlights, running a red light, too dark tint) in fact, i remember some bodycam videos where the officer was really disappointed and frustrated, since it was a minor violation, and the officer might have given the person a warning initially if they cooperated, but because of fleeing, they now need to arrest the person. here? "show cause order"
And likely all fake. Replace with a "I think I am above the law" sticker.. car should be impounded and driver arrested. If a gov employee is in the back, flouting the law, they work for us, sack them!
Yan mga sasakyan, na impound na pero ginagamit pang personal use ng mga pulis. Panahon ni senator lacson mahigpit pinag babawal kahit general pa ranko ng pulis😢😢
Yes, the Philippines is soft on crime. Although the driver is mostly IGNORANT (and I hope he reads this) of the laws of the roadway and does not care about safety, a ticket and license confiscation is not enough. Driver's attitudes WILL NOT change unless the laws change. The current penalties are not enough to deter. In the U.S. he would have been pulled from the car possibly thrown to the ground handcuffed and arrested. Especially after pushing his car into the enforcer.
The bus lane used to have barriers from end to end, and they still caught many violators. Just check my old videos. Most of the busway is still protected with barriers. It's only on the flyovers and tunnels that they were removed for safety reasons.

Not to mention they would be tasered and forcibly dragged out of their vehicle for stupidity. That is assault on uniformed personnel.

The law is weak, in other countries you'll get arrested.
Nothing to id thevehicle. Why was it allowed to drive away?
In the US, that's assault with a deadly weapon and police can shoot driver.

😂😂😂 talaga lang huh...
That’s a vehicle assault here in the USA. That’s jail time. Cops can actually shoot you for that. That’s also considered deadly weapon
