- GB News host Patrick Christys says the incident of former Brexit party leader and current GB News host Nigel Farage being locked out of his bank account is a "very sinister development" on the streets of Britain.

The whole purpose of Brexit was to concentrate power in a privileged elite and establish authoritarian rule without all that EU stuff about workers rights, human rights, and democracy.

In about 1981-ish I had my Cheque book stolen. I was unaware as I left it on the mantlepiece and was on holiday.
I had a current account at Barclays that my wages were paid directly into and they froze all my funds until it was paid off.
Lesson learnt.
I NEVER let a bank have that kind of hold on me ever again.

He was given 2 months. He’s used most of that time trying to get 7 other banks to open an account- all to no avail.

Reminds me of the opposite situation in the Global financial crisis when large account holders had restrictions placed on their withdrawing funds from their bank accounts. Banks were scared of customers doing a banking run and withdrawing their money from the bank.
