    I picked up Rising on launch. It's the first fighting game I've really dedicated my time towards, and it's been an amazing experience getting better at the game. It's exactly the type of game I've been looking for, because I love system mastery and the community surrounding the game.

    i came from mk1 to this, because in a lot of ways it’s the closest non-nrs game to the same feel and there’s a dedicated block, and i loved the final fantasy feel of the aesthetics

    Peak content, and I hope you can help people really get into the game as well! Granblue is such an amazing series and it deserves the love it gets. What I do hate is that people don’t try things even when it’s free. Another thing that bothers me a lot is that people need games to be live service in order to keep playing, I believe that’s bull and that you can play a game continuously without it having some stupid battle pass or gacha element into it. Ever since Gacha games became more popular it’s completely taken over the love for games that could receive free updates with just as much quality and content. For example Granblue Relink. It’s a wonderful game to play! It’s amazing but doesn’t have as much content to keep people going for long. But if we can play games from back then instead of reminiscing about them then I don’t see why we can’t just support games and help give the devs a reason to continue making more content! Relink was another one of the reasons I fell in love with Granblue and so many can agree! But what’s been off about it’s community specifically for that game is that amount of people only speaking the negative such as "It’s dying because the devs were dumb enough to not do live service" or "It’s good but the devs aren’t making anymore content" if that’s so then give them a reason to make more content. Help make Granblue games become amazing! They are waiting to see how people of this era will react to the current state of games. I am hyped for season 2 and hope the game itself becomes just as good as GGST and Street fighter. I love and appreciate this community a lot and will help as much as I can to bring game like Versus rising and relink to its peak again!

    I never expected to love Granblue Rising so much when I tryed it the first time. I'm not usually into pseudo medieval flashy anime aesthetics. But I do love it. The game is simply amazing.
    The super tight resource management, so transparent yet so hard, the different playstyles and win conditions of the cast, the characters backgrounds and dialogues, the intense battling for positioning and opportunity, the mind games and strategic restrictions, the character expression and deeply personal techniques, the simple controls in a super deep tactical context... It is just too good.
    Add to this the mad respect the developers have demonstrated for the community, the slow but steady release of actually useful and fun content, like the 6 DLC characters added each season and the powerful and well made balance patches. Also consider the cosmetic/monetized stuff: the new outfits, colors, titles, badges, weapons, illustrations, etc. All of them tied to a very reasonable price and a very low grind battle pass, which puts most other battle passes in the FGC to abyect shame by just being fair and not empty.
    Give the game a few hours. It is true it feels less populated than SF6 or T8, but there are plenty of people to play anyway. The wait for me never gets over 5 minutes, and it is usualy less than 60 seconds. This game is just awesome, do play it.

    good video, in my case I tried to give this game a lot of opportunities but I always ran into the same problem, very few people playing, obviously every time a new character comes out there is usually a decent average number of players but the hype least very little and The charts are normally between 400 to 300 people, it is impossible for me to start playing ranked with a new character or play at certain times of the day, it is a shame because I find it to be one of the most generous and polished fighting games that have been made in recent years but if there is no community involved, it is not worth continuing to invest time in it.

      And that is perfectly valid and why I wanted to make this video, more people should play it! I also do find it hard to find matches at certain parts of the day, in my case, the hardest is in the morning/early afternoon. It doesn't really pick up till evening to a little past midnight.
      It is technically competing with a lot of big names like SF6, Tekken 8, etc. So I'm hoping that maybe a few more content creators, tournaments, and etc puts more eyes and players on the game!

    Blazblue is my main fighting game. I'm thinking of playing Granblue sometime. Would my Blazblue experience translate well? Would I have an easy time getting into this game? (Is it like blazblue?)

      @jalenthepsikid7912  12 днів тому +1

      Being honest I haven't played too much Blazblue but from what I've seen, it's much faster than Granblue. This game has a slower pace with more emphasis on footsies.
      Though imo Granblue is a game that is a good intro into fighting games in general. So fundamental experience in fighting games in general translates well into this game

    also, the jumping mechanic sucks
    so if u decided to start to play the game don't jump a lot

      @user-zq6rl7lf2g Right, unlike other anime fighters, jumping is a lot slower here so if you jump you pretty much die

      You need to use jumps very carefully. It is a really strong mechanic, but very vulnerable if your opponent anticipates it.
