I went for a ride to Dalhousie with a group of jawa riders. One of the bike was Jawa Perak and i rode that Bike mostly. So I thought to share the View of riding it and also telling experience of That jawa owner.

I have a jawa perak and recently went to galu from dharamkot . It is a single road with offroading like experience .
The bike performed very well there but the only thing was , the road was muddy and slippery due to rain and the company fitted tyres could not make a better grip there but performance and shockers are the plus point which helped us ☺️
Performance is mind blowing 💥
The first thing after getting jawa is to get rid of those crappy tires. When I bought my 42, the showroom owner itself had recommeneded me to change the tyres.

It has very good throw by halogen lights. I even got compliments by other riders ki it has far better headlights than other.

Not sure about Perak but my roommate has Jawa 42 and ground clearance is so low, if one is taking turn and do a slight and normal lean on the curve, main stand will touch the road 200%, even in humps which are not smooth, which is very rare in Indian road conditions. My heart breaks whenever Main stand touches the road and make that sound. :(
Apart from these bikes have Great power delivery, awesome shock absorbers, nice ride posture, not so good seat cushion, less powerful battery, I feel these bikes are quite small in size.
In this lockdown my friends bike was ideal for a quite a time. Battery messed up and now it doesn't start. All the lights, horn were working, but its failed to start after so many attempts.

Am going from splendour pro to Royal Enfield, am 5.5 height, this is going to be my first royal enfeld experience, most of my ride time would be in city, i might take the bike to long road trips occasionally,I was thinking of buying either classic 350es or Honda Hiness.
What would you recommend?
I would take the test rides, however, please tell me one thing,which would you recommend classic or interceptor? For a first timer?
There is new classic launched end of this year, should I wait for it or buy classic earlier.

Bro for a first time cruiser rather than classic 350 or meteor 350 you should go for a H'ness CB 350. More reliable and agile bike which would be best for your height. Still do a test ride of both and buy the one which is more fun to ride for you!!

Halogens are better than LEDs, night me kabhi feel karna, i have felt the same and i feel halogen works for practical use... Dikhana hai logo ko toh lgao LED

Yes number of custom made seats are available out in aftermarket. But the problem is durability and looks.

In fact don't buy any jawa. Why? Jawa is classic and Royal Enfield is also classic... Now ride with them (30-40 riders) for 100-200 km in a day (Road conditions hills, off road and Highways). Come back home and ask yourself despite having a better power figure on jawa...do you really feel the bike is connected with you? My answer was no... I felt small, the engine feels like small cc sports bike that revs high and felt like a chapperi rider. Came back home and sold the bike and bought an interceptor 650. Now I feel better with power, the feel of a bigger bike, the soothing engine sound.

Single seat ok ,but for long route s where does one hangfcr NC, Luggage . Looks so bad .We are not living in 1945 to continue such bad engineering in future . This is not even classic looking , I think Jawa will pack up in few years.
