This man knows everything about past papers especially how to use them extremely effectively, such an underrated UA-camr
Honeslty this is everything peope need, u literally explained everything, and is true I do that too, I do past papers and then revise even more in debt the topics I got wrong
Thanks for this video. My exams for end of year 12 are starting at the end of may so I'm starting past papers now.
Thank you for putting so much effort into all your videos:)
you're just totally amazing guy
great vid! it'd be good if you scheduled your videos throughout the week instead of them all at once
I have been starting to revise maths on Hegarty Maths by doing the past papers as I did it up to question 8 and next I want to carry it on starting from question 9.What is your advice?
Thank you for the effort you put in your videos ,they are very useful !
Thank you, I'm glad you like them!
How would you recommend marking topic questions from physics and maths tutor
How would i learn from my mistakes like doing it again?
( science ) cause i do topic questions for a topic and i dont know what to do with the ones i get wrong ( if that makes sense 😭 )
Should I do all topic past papers before doing the full ones
You don't need too. I certaintly didn't! I liked past papers because they mixed up questions so you get more variety.
How do I consolidate questions I get wrong? Should I just input the question and the markschemes into anki?
It depends on the question. If it's something that's more understanding-based then you may want to put a flashcard about the general concept into Anki. If not, then you can put the question/answer into Anki.
@@RAmjad Thanks!
i bought the biology chemistry and physics grade 8-9 targeted workbook, would u advise starting them now or waiting closer till the exams?
I'd suggest starting them now because it gives you more time to think about the really hard questions. They're more problem-solving focused and you don't really learn problem-solving overnight.
@@RAmjad Thanks for the advice. Also, I am doing really well at my STEM subjects but i struggle with essay based subjects like History and English do u have any tips for finding the motivation and stamina to revise them and do well. I want to have all rounded grades;
@@krixzby695Hi, sorry I missed this comment. I respond significantly faster on Instagram.
I honestly can't remember much as I last did these subjects when I was 16 at GCSE. I think I just interleaved that with things I was good at and enjoyed more. For example, doing a science past paper, then writing a practice essay, then doing another science past paper.
But for me personally, when full revision kicked in the months before exam, I began to disassociate myself from my emotions and didn't have any feelings towards any subject. I just did it. Maybe use some subjects you enjoy to build up momentum then switch to ones you enjoy less?
Hello jamal
Any tips for finding hard grade 9 gcse maths questions??
Do lots of practice questions that are grade 9 questions.
Hey Ray, i know you are busy currently and may not be able to reply to comments but can I ask if you did the new specifications and if so, did you do the old spec past papers? i was wondering if the difference is massive and if i benefit focusing on the old past papers until June for my alevels and alongside reviewing and recalling the content. Thanks
I did do old specification papers too. I may have replies to your email? I’m not sure
@@RAmjad yes :) you replied to my email
