The thing about the "luxury" apartments here is you sacrafice usable sqft for Luxury features. Whikch isn't a bad thing, I just opt for space. For example a separate dining area instead of a hall. A separate living room area, still open but not just one big space so it feels more like a house. And still have the granite, windows, appliances, etc. Also the drive to uptown is a Hike
Low country stay where you are. This sound exciting but low country you can own land. Land equals power. It is better to own than rent. When you rent you make someone else family rich.
Had no idea NC had spots like this definitely some of the better apartments I’ve seen in awhile y’all making moves much respect fam the progress and vlogs are always inspiring keep it up 👍
Hey girl can you give me the names of the places you went to? I’m looking for a 2 bedroom myself! Welcome to Charlotte! Charlotte born and raised here 👋 Is the first one the element?
People think 2,000 is a lot for an apartment but your not just paying for the apartment you’re paying for the area and amenities so no it’s not too much
You can pay it, but you are paying the same price as a person who owns their home or even higher. When you rent lon, beyond two years you make someone else’s family rich. I learned this from my Maryland grandmother. In her day people owned homes because it was expected. I pray the opportunity comes again for our young adults and HBCU graduates. These are condo and mortgage prices. My cousin lives in Philadelphia he lays $3, 500 for an apartment. You are living life those up North. Transplanting is welcomed but studies show excessive transplanting and reverse migration can lead to expensive living for both natives and transplants. With this being said don’t settle and negotiate. Wherever there are large populations of people you will live expensively. New York and California this is cheap for them, but expensive for Southerners.
LED Lighting will mess with your camera. So in some apartments, you may have to change out the bulbs. Ballantyne, where the money is at, Common Wealth is a good area as well.
Omg! Thank you soooo much for this. I thought something was wrong with my camera because I’d never experienced that. Also, thanks for sharing about ballantyne and common wealth. I don’t know much about the area, so that was helpful ☺️
@@KickItWitCourtney - Charlotte has great things to do. But it’s not all that. People think moving here will change their life, and all their dreams will come true. The fact is Charlotte has problems. Lots of problems. But the media, social media, and people’s minds trick them into thinking that. But as someone who lives here it’s just my opinion.
Is this the prices for the American South? This higher than is a condo or mortgage price in my day. Young people get a roommate or go home to $$ave. If you choose not to, Please don’t settle, Charlotte is so competitive there are so many choices in University and South Charlotte have great amenities. No sliding glass doors please. French doors with patio, pool, outdoor cooking, outdoor tv, club houses where you can have parties etc. Young people the price they are charging to rent is a condo or home in the American South. The American South to build apartments is definitely a new generation. The South was our territory to buy and own houses and land. The North and West has entered the South and knocked off a new generation. Now you will live like them, expensively. We were wondering why they were building apartments instead of more homes. The prices is in the American South is unheard of in my generation. Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia is worse. Waiting for black construction to resurface in the South and in Maryland. Wishing you well
