Granite State Scenic Railway - Dawn of a New Era - Part 1

In August of 2023, the Hobo and Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroads of New Hampshire were acquired by holding company Patriot Rail. In early 2024, the railroad rebranded to Granite State Scenic Railroad. As the 2024 season was set to begin in May, a new era was about to commence.
In part 1, we will see the first equipment move south from Lincoln to Meredith, preparing for the start of the busy 2024 tourist season in Meredith. Making this move significant was the presence of two freshly repainted cars - coach 103 “determination”, and “The Leo” caboose, formerly known as Leo’s Party Caboose. I caught up with the train in Campton, and chased all the way to Meredith.
