My beloved Mom had a thing for The Ghastley (as dear Papa calls him). Now that little truth is thought-provoking indeed. As a thirty-year-old rugby-playing oaf .. who was dropped on his head as a baby (so the family story goes) .. I can only say I was deeply moved by the sentiment that was expressed in the link (I'll refrain from saying where I went, and to do what, but I cleaned up the mess .. and my queazy tummy does feel a lot better now; thank you).
P.S. I am just envious. My darling wife is still trying to teach me to do The Twist properly (an Olde Tyme dance; please, gentlemen - no rowdy phulgarity) and a One-Two-Three Waltz. As a 85% WR with Kv-2 in RB with 555 games in that great tank (player: Radom) I always preferred the AP round. Better and more consistent performance where there are small trees and fences. However, I do carry few HE rounds for up and personal work

Phly, find a local National Guard Artillery Regiment, and ask if there is a way you could visit the gun line while they're operating the guns during a fire mission. There are three that are very close to the 152mm cannon in the KV-2; the M198, the M777, and the M109. All three are 155mm howitzers. The other howitzer you might encounter will be the M119 which is 105mm.
