Happy New Year Colin 🎉 At Mappleton like many beaches the ammonites aren't always in rounded nodules, it's worth tapping any decent sized lump especially if it's the right era like the ones with the nutshells, I have found ammonites in some very weird shapes at Mappleton 😀 The chalk is out of the cliffs 😁⚒️🌊 Happy Hunting in 2025
