- The Washington Huskies won the spring transfer portal window in the Big Ten. Washington head coach Jedd Fisch brought in the 9th-best transfer portal class with 26 total commits, with seven incoming 4-stars. Quarterback Will Rogers, running back Jonah Coleman, and cornerback Ephesians Prysock will be immediate contributors. I don't know if Washington Football is underrated entering 2024, but they should be able to reach a bowl game and potentially reach better heights with a good coaching staff and talented roster. We want at least 8-4 but hoping 10-2
As a Husky fan, I expect 8-4 with a floor of 6-6 and a ceiling of 11-1. Not gonna expect another dream year like last year, but we should at least have a solid year.
As good as the Husky team was last year on offense there was a feeling that our Defense under the then current coaching staff would never be able to match the performance of the offense. We just rarely were able to put teams away. Fisch's teams run a nice Pro Offense, running game is important, TE are important. I don't think we're going to see too much of an offensive dropoff but what I'm excited about is the possibility of the Defense being better. You only need look at Penn State last year to see how far a great Defense can carry you with a below average offense. Washington has the opportunity to be a solid Offense and Defense this season. Even despite losing Jabar Muhammed I think the Secondary will be better, we've got a lot of youth on Defense on the Edge and Interior. I've watched Will Rogers play a number of games. There is zero stuff he's going to see in the Big 10 that he didn't see in the SEC. If the OL performs better than expectation I think we'll have better season than many are guessing.
I think you're a little on the low side in your evaluation of the Huskies... Oregon might have had some good years since the 90s but only because Washington was attacked by the PAC leadership by in the early 90s causing Don James to resign... But with the exception of the Tyrone Willingham teams, the Huskies have been a top 4 PAC team since the 60s and really most see it as a top 2 team on the west coast
I am a Husky fan but I'm going to be realistic and say it will be a successful season if we make a bowl game. The big ten is tough.
New group, new coaches, new quarterback. Anyone’s guess here.could win 5 games could win 10. Not expecting a lot.
I’m as optimistic as any Husky but I have 5-7 to 9-3, I think 8-4 with an upset win in there
I can see the Huskies potentially pulling off an upset. I certainly see them reaching a bowl game.

I feel like Will Rogers is one of those guys that seems he has been in college football since 2018
UW will eventually be the best , this so the team in this conference, it will take time, though. We have the best coach. Give it time. This year, I hope 8 wins. Probably be six. Who knows, though, here.
Washington will be 8-4 or 9-3. I’ll say better if the last 5 transfers are great.

Most husky fans want at least 9 wins. Jedd is Mr NFL U. Noah would have just confused the QB situation. McMillan is an obvious loss, but we really need more O-line.
8-4 is my prediction
Huskies could be 8-0 with their schedule, then finish at 8-4, losing their last 4 games.

Deboar recruited poorly Fisch back filled with worse rated guys. Other than Wayne they got no plug and play out of portal in the spring. I dont see a Big 10 road win. 6 and 6 would be a pleasant surprise
