Not many were playing this that I can remember. Definitely 'Girls and Boys' and 'Parklife' were regular. I do remember going to clubs and the whole of the Stone Roses album being played from back to front, one after another, but these tended to be in alternative clubs. Your mainline places were still playing dross.

Graham Coxon is amazing on this one. His guitar parts on "MLIR", "Parklife" & "TGE" remind me of Andy Summers' job in the Police; In that sense that all the stuff he contributed was simply perfectly suited for each song, perfect guitar craftsmanship always in a perfect amount to squeeze all the juices from Damon's songwriting capabilities
