The 'adults' from this group always appear to be juvenile & ignorant of normal respect. The children obviously follow that example. It is not racist ot bigotry - it is just an observation.
I agree, I’ve never been racist about these particular people but, after ongoing events, I think I’m changing my mind. Their clothing and hair styles I wouldn’t like but that’s there way, so be it. All the more reason why they should show respect to the king’s guards because they are performing their duty, and this is their way. Respect them.
Not a very good public face by some of the Jewish community, yet if someone said something about them they would be crying anti semitism. If they show no respect, how can they expect people to respect them?

The "tour guide" that leads some of these groups was asked about that very subject and he told the UA-camr that the group that was causing a problem that day were all British, so they KNEW all about that and the Army. One of the party said that he had been visiting for years and they all thought that their behaviour was OK because "it was part of the experience" - After some education, he conceded that he and his group would behave better in future. So, THIS group may also be British (Hasidic Jews speaking Hebrew) and the Israeli groups were told not to interfere with them. Sadly they are not always prepared to listen. They are indeed an odd bunch.

@@Richard500 Thank you for that reply. My very first friend in my entire life was a Jewish, well baby really, the same as I was at the time. He was the youngest son, and his parents & family had escaped from Europe at the outset of the rise of Nazism. I have also worked for a very devout Jewish family, who employed gentiles so they could keep the Sabbath & maintain their business hours on a Saturday. All of them found the practitioners of the Hasidic branch of Judaism a complete embarrassment.
Unfortunately, some see that as the go-ahead to do as they please, then play the discrimination card. That sort of behaviour really embarrasses a friend of mine.

I can think of a number of military installations in Poland during the 1940s where they would have thought twice about disrespecting the guards!
They all seem to share the same mindset, that of immature teens.
It speaks of their quality that they provoke someone who follows the order and protocol. If anyone mocked the Israeli soldiers, they would kick him out of the country and ban him for life.
Why aren't they in the Israeli Army? Apparently, they're British Jews, but if they are so cock-sure of themselves, why not volunteer & show us all how it's done.

As soon as they are seen entering, they need to be accompanied by an officer so they do not block others from having a chance to get a photo. They need to be told to move on out. Keep them away from the foot guards and the horse guards! Have them leave once they take photos, and if they have no plan to take photo then tell them to leave.
I stood guard in the US and International laws stops this . Laws just need to be in forced.

It's always the same "bunch" of people that cause these problems. The police need to advise theme of their rights but move them on soonest.

I would not call it provocation or disrespect. However the young men just stood and stared at the guard for much longer than was necessary to get their photos, and it must have been off-putting for the guard. As someone else said there are often groups of men wearing these traditional outfits who hang around just staring or even appearing to make fun of the guards. Why do they do this?
They were saying something to the guard at the start and laughing. So I am guessing they were mocking and disrespecting. The police would not come over so quickly for them just standing and staring. I get the impression this group have been there before as the woman with them looked familiar.
I'm glad the cops are keeping there eyes on the Guard's. That cop showed in his walk and facial expression that he means business to look out for them and his standing.

It is just totally unacceptable for the guards have to take abuse from any tourists. Royal protection duties isn't easy work. Even sitting on the horses or in the archies. Mentally and physically hard work. For tourists not getting it that abuse is not acceptable. Even the horses know they push them away.

What I don't understand is why aren't there international signs depicting a horse with a tourist standing too close, touching the horse, grabbing the reins with the barred circle and next to that horse and Guard with the tourist standing next to arch with shoulder not past the edge, looking forward, smiling. Any graphic designer is more than capable of producing this sign. It leaves no doubt what behavior is acceptable and what isn't. It can even be interactive and flash when protocol is violated, pretty much relieving the King's Guard of babysitting visitors, children and adults. It could also be equipped with a beep to summon the armed officers to assist in a difficult situation. We have AI, CGI and other technology. Why not use it?
Doubt it would do any good.. look how many go through stop signs, red lights, speed limits, no parking, left turn only, right turn only, yield, no turn on red, and many more signs that people ignore. They can't say they don't know what the sign says next to the horses.. they can google it on their phones and translate it into their own language. They are just pathetic people, period.
Well, if they posted a police officer in front of the horse guards to ensure it was followed, it might. I'm sure the word would eventually spread, and the officers could always remain close to the horse guards as they sometimes do. Especially the lady officer, I LOVE HER take no prisoners attitude. Prior to Lockdown I came down o London several times a year and most times on the Express train from Euston last train out, there where a lot of people some families as well that caught the last train to Liverpool but they got off the train at Crewe to change onto the Manchester lot as today and other times and they behaved in a similar way to ones that turn up at Horseguards

I was told once by a horse guard that if you get to close to the horse it senses danger , you pull on its reigns it bite or kicks cause it hurts the mouth a bar attached is up against back teeth and it bangs against them hurts

Well. The longer we put up with this kind of behaviour the worse it will get. Our police and authorities are pathetic.
They only target the guard with no horse, because the horse is the guard’s ammunition against them. They specifically go to this area to bully the guard who is wearing a better helmet than them.
