All these "Pontiac Aztec" comments what year are u ALL talking about? I saw a 2001 & looks NOTHING like Eclipse Cross. Rear lights on Cross go all way across the glass on hatch. On Aztec they are no where near glass "Hatch". Aztec is down right ugly. NOT the case with Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross!
The only thing i would discredit this vehicle for is lack of rear AC vents. That should be standard in all vehicles. But its not only mitsubishi, its also missing in the Rav 4 as well
I just got my eclipse cross gt last month. I noticed the the automatic braking works well when it is on assisted cruise control.. it actually worked on me today... some car cut me off , and he braked suddenly and my cross braked on its own instantly... love it ... Does this work if im not on assisted cruise control also ??? What if im driving in a neighborhood road and some child runs in front ,,will it stop ?? Even if my foot is on the gas pedal ??? I havent been in that situation ,, nor do i want to try it out .. Do i need to program something in my settings ?
Active Brake Assist SHOULD work whether the Adaptive Cruise is on or not. Now, I CANNOT claim that, because every vehicle is equipped differently. I would check the owner manual to see if they have a section on Active Brake Assist.
Why is dissing the CVT? Mitsubishi has been using Jatco cvt units for over a decade and their programming is tried and true. Much less documented evidence of premature CVT failures on their models vs Nissan's models incorporating the very same Jatco units. If your going to get a CVT driven vehicle, get a Mitsubishi. Mine too! I was so fortunate to be able to film an early-arrival 2018 Navigator L Black Label not too long ago. It was a longer video, but that’s because there is so much on them! That dealer hasn’t received another one, so I was fortunate for sure!
@@NeighborhoodCarReviews Seems like Mitsubishi puts all the money in the engine vs exteriors/interiors. They stay running like a Toyota but get beat up faster no doubt. Great reliablty, not so great paint.

the rear gate and bumper is reminiscent of the old mirage design. Which was and still is a good design.

I have a 2018 cross and am not impressed with warranty.
I think it come with 2.0cc engine also...
Revving the engine is stupid, sounds like trash and will not help but hurt sales.Most all 4 cyl engines sound crappy when doing it. I have 2 myself.
You need to hear it with the Coltspeed carbon intake and K&N filter. Turbo noise galore.
