2 months later and the top boy in her age group is 300 rating points higher than her. I don't think that she will stand a chance in the open section, but she is really good for a Woman.

She's not always the best either, but kids this age can easily lose or gain 100 elo in one tournament. Very strange how you can say that someone at the age of 9 would have no chance in the open section. Nodirbek Abdusattorrov was top 5 in his age group when he was 14 and now he has a chance, while Bodhana is still much younger.

So this shows how little you can tell about the future outcomes of children of this age. And Nodirbek obviously has a chance with Gukesh, their ratings are quite similar.

Don't be surprised if in future nine year old Bodhana Sivanandan sets up an academy to train chess masters because in Sanskrit her first name "Bodhana" means one who teaches (bodhayati).

All just colonization and replacement, through the stupidity of the western countries. Wish he luck and be curious to see how she develops in the next 10-15 years.

Chess is not an all India phenomena as most often thought off . Its predominently from the southern state of Tamil Nadu .Tamil Nadu has the largest percentage of chess grandmaster in all of India ! Thats statistics and Tamil Nadu is the chess capital of India ! Yes its the south indian Tamil factor . Its all to do with Tamil DNA !!!

Bodhana, is in my opinion, women's chess only chance to get another 2700 player in this generation. I don't want to see just "Discussion", I want her to get the best training and motivation to become reach the heights that Judit reached. Carlsen trained with Kasparov. Judit should train with Bodhana. I don't want any more excuses that the rest of the women's chess world likes to make to happen to this young lady.
