Brisbane here (well office as I live in the Redlands shire) so you know the Aussie style. Mine is two modes: full on glam in the office with rotating with blues, greens, orange and neutral intense sparkles vs absolutely no makeup when telecommuting even when presenting. Work has gotten used to my extremes. This video has convinced me I need this palette but it will have to wait as I just bought 3 Adept palettes with shipping from I feel beautiful Canada.
I love that I can learn Aussie geography from a makeup tutorial…totally get to justify to hubby why I didn’t pick up my cosmetics & brushes from the table today because “I am learning geography🤭” & awesome thing is that he is such a sweetie, he has learned to clean my eyeshadow brushes for hubby-bonus points🥰
This color story is absolutely stunning and I love the way they did the rows to make it easy for everyone. I am from California in the Bay Area, which typically is a very no makeup makeup region, but I do a full glam beat every single day. I also believe in the seasonal color theory ideas, and me being a dark winter means I can pull off the bold, smoky looks. Glaminatrix is such a standout brand and I can’t wait to get this!

I love the look of this palette but it’s too similar to Nearly Natural from a couple of years ago but with improved shimmers. If you didn’t get the nearly natural, this looks like a great buy! It does have the added orange-browns but I have those in my collection too.
Hi Martina, I have put a comment in but I'm from northern NSW, and I can b on the GC in 20 minutes but these days I'm usually a Matt person occasionally for a party quite over the top. When I was in my 20 ' s I had quite out there looks as I worked on a Clarins counter and they always had a colour story for summer and winter. These days I'm quite neutral if I'm just out and about. I am very excited about this. I also am a bit reluctant to be influenced. I am so impressed by the improvements Glaminatrix has made. Their mattes and sparkling shades are so very excellent today. I am from Toronto/Canada and wear plain/basic with a bit of my bronzer to full PML blinds. I vibe a lot with the intensity of your make up (maybe more on the warmer side tho).

I got everything else I wanted in the Sephora order haha!
I laughed when you used that old tarte brush. I have lovely brushes but still reach for that tarte brush, the tarte double ended highlight, the old urban decay double ended that came in their palettes and the slanted real techniques eye set over the $$$ ones.

Love to support Aussie as a Hungarian living in QLD for 6 years now❤ Btw in Hungary makeup is more bold and eyeshadow heavy than here which I miss a bit - I just hope eyeshadow will make a come back and gets more popular here too! But anyway...I will still be wearing my multichromes and duochromes even if I only go to the grocery store with my kids haha 😜
I'm in a university town in the southeastern US. I think the region is kind of known for pancake makeup, a little too much bronzer, heavy lashes, and blonde highlights, but my little nook is full of researchers and graduate students who are mostly barefaced. I try to strike a balance to let people know that yes I'm an adult and not a student, but no I can't fix the xerox machine or be trusted with more than one key. This translates as a no-makeup-makeup base, brows, and lashes, and then a bold yellow or orange on the waterline.
Haha! You may as well be talking about University of Florida where I went to medical school in Gainesville…us medical students even back in the 1990’s could easily be distinguished as we didn’t even have time to buy makeup, much less get on lipstick…in stark contrast to the other thousands of undergraduates, many of which were sorority members…who would never go out without full glam makeup &hair& had roots touched up every 4 weeks…after 25 years in medicine, I no longer have to work 80 hours a week and enjoying learning everything to shock my fellow doctors and amaze my patients who didn’t know doctors could wear red lipstick🥴
I’ve been waiting for this with all the teasers!! I’m a fair summer cool tone and still on the fence if I need another neutral palette. Do you think this will work for fair cool tones? Although it says neutral, I still think the oranges pull warm. Also thinking about getting the nocturnal mini since I dont have the original. I like pops of colours. I appreciate your advice/reviews as always :) I’m from Singapore where it’s hot and humid all year round. Here we can easily access k-beauty brands and in the past, my makeup looks have been inspired by k-beauty trends.
Aw thank you so much! I do think the palette will suit fair cool tones but the pumpkin row mattes do pull more warm toned but the rest of them don't so you could mix some of the more neutral shades into those ones when you use them to balance it a little. The nocturnal palette is amazing! I love mine so much still. Oh I love Singapore! I can definitely see it being inspired by k beauty trends. I love k beauty as well xx

The nearly natural didn't quite hit it for me, bit this one... (I did recently get three of the neutral glaminatrix singles and the do not disappoint)

I’m from South Texas so a lot of the girls have heavy falsies and a lot of lip liner. I personally don’t do the style of makeup that’s popular here. I like a nice eye look with just mascara

Look 4 is perfection. That coppery shade called Viral is the best in the palette, IMO.

I think the region is kind of known for pancake makeup, a little too much bronzer, heavy lashes, and blonde highlights, but my little nook is full of researchers and graduate students who are mostly barefaced. I try to strike a balance to let people know that yes I'm an adult and not a student, but no I can't fix the xerox machine or be trusted with more than one key. This translates as a no-makeup-makeup base, brows, and lashes, and then a bold yellow or orange on the waterline.

Haha! You may as well be talking about University of Florida where I went to medical school in Gainesville…us medical students even back in the 1990’s could easily be distinguished as we didn’t even have time to buy makeup, much less get on lipstick…in stark contrast to the other thousands of undergraduates, many of which were sorority members…who would never go out without full glam makeup &hair& had roots touched up every 4 weeks…after 25 years in medicine, I no longer have to work 80 hours a week and enjoying learning everything to shock my fellow doctors and amaze my patients who didn’t know doctors could wear red lipstick🥴

I’ve been waiting for this with all the teasers!! I’m a fair summer cool tone and still on the fence if I need another neutral palette. Do you think this will work for fair cool tones? Although it says neutral, I still think the oranges pull warm. Also thinking about getting the nocturnal mini since I dont have the original. I like pops of colours. I appreciate your advice/reviews as always :)
I’m from Singapore where it’s hot and humid all year round. Here we can easily access k-beauty brands and in the past, my makeup looks have been inspired by k-beauty trends.
Aw thank you so much! I do think the palette will suit fair cool tones but the pumpkin row mattes do pull more warm toned but the rest of them don't so you could mix some of the more neutral shades into those ones when you use them to balance it a little. The nocturnal palette is amazing! I love mine so much still. Oh I love Singapore! I can definitely see it being inspired by k beauty trends. I love k beauty as well xx

I’m from South Texas so a lot of the girls have heavy falsies and a lot of lip liner. I personally don’t do the style of makeup that’s popular here. I like a nice eye look with just mascara
