Awesome tune! Graduated college around the time this came out. This, and Remedy reminded me soooo much of the great tunes I heard when I was a kid in the 70's and my parents had the good rock stations on! Sounds quite like the Stones or other bands of that ilk with the women back up singers on stage. Basically wore out this cassette out in one summer!
una de mis bandas mas favoritas y esta cancion en concreto es una de esas que al escucharla te da el subidon. Long Live Rock 'n' Roll !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
probably one of the only REAL bands left from the old mtv days. they (mtv) sold their shit down the river a long time ago. seen these guys in chattanooga back in 1988 touring with zz top. A LOT OF REEFER SMOKE IN THE UTC ARENA THAT NIGHT!!!
Fuck! These guys were Tha Shit till they weren't! If only they would've spread their wings and soared above their faults... Thankfully we'll all meh together in the heady by and bye...
@pcburgh01 - No shit eh? Back when they played music and didn't need MTV2 lol, and the only shows they had were Remote Control and Kurt Loder news?? Bonus if you remember who the host of Remote control was, and no cheating looking it up :)
IT'S JUST MY OPINION.... Man , just imagine , if they had been famous in the 70's, now they would be at the height of Lynard Skynard or zeppelin, who knows, but they would have been a very important band.
I was at this with my wife on the side stage my wife got sick and threw up on there limo and chris laughed at my wife and told her to go have another one
MTV was heading downhill with this video on headbangers. It didnt belong. I got a great idea instead of playig videos lets turn MTV into a reality TV station. blah blah
Black Crows are good but...teeny-boppers and young kids love to see them on stage but....mature rock guitarist like to hear them on CD,or LP"s or radio....too much fucking jumping around and the lead singer ?..welllllll I just dont know.
burst on the scene another absolute meteorite and kate Hudson meh lol! too self satisfied for me and that boy well that goldie kid is a product of hollyweird bless em cray cray narcissistic dorian grey's
Very easily. You (being 108) must have had a favourite side to an album at some stage. Those 78s back in the day? Anyway TSHAMC had ten songs so it was a dectopus (from the deep).
Great post I`ve never seen this before. The Crowes got me through my final days of highschool when this album came out I must have played this CD 1000 times. Not very many bands make a 2nd album that is just as good or even better than their first.
Does you guys remember the *alternate* version of "Sting Me" that was on the B-side of ... um, "Thorn in My Pride" (I think)? The slower, sort of bare-bones version? If anyone has a link to that sone on UA-cam, pass it on to me, please! =D Thanks, and enjoy!
Sting Me - The Black Crowes [Atlanta, Georgia] - 1992 - "AMG Pick. (#1 on the Album Rock Tracks chart for two weeks). A great song off their second album 'The Southern Harmony And Musical Companion' Good first impression on the Great guitar HOOKS and vocals." - The Southern Harmony And Musical Companion (Def American Records)-1992. NOTE: If you like this song check out these albums "Shake Your Money Maker-1990" AND "Amorica-1994."
NOBODY looked unhappy at the "devils weed" fest. Good smoke, Good poeple, and Great music. WTF hasnt everyone recognized this?? Gotta smoke one to this. Peace on you and everyone you love. TBC are as real as they come.
@MickeyLove01 Steve Gorman, bank manager ha ha ha Take a look at him now then, either way still one of the bets drummers ever !!! Ask Jimmy Paige for his comments

I was there !!! I was stationed at Ft. Stewart GA at the time. I was 21 years old and ready to have the time of my life after getting back from the war. I saw Chris only one other time in GA. at the Furthur Festival in 1997. Being a die hard dead head here on the central coast of California I have seen Chris with the Crows, Phil, and with the Brotherhood many times but nothing will ever top the Greater Atlanta Pot Festival at Piedmont Park........for FREE !!
Probably my favorite Black Crowes song ever. Went to see 'em at the Boston Opera House back in '08 and they were PHENOMENAL. One of the best American rock bands of all-time.
Awesome tune! Graduated college around the time this came out. Sounds quite like the Stones or other bands of that ilk with the women back up singers on stage. Basically wore out this cassette out in one summer!
Truly one of the great traditional rock sounds, straight up powerful and tight!
American Theater St Louis 92 - one of the loudest, best rock shows I’ve been to! #FreeTheWeed
I miss the 90's
una de mis bandas mas favoritas y esta cancion en concreto es una de esas que al escucharla te da el subidon.
Long Live Rock 'n' Roll !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thee MOST Rock-'n-Roll Rock-'n-Roll band ever!
Caleb Johnson rocked this song on American Idol tonight!!!
Deb--Totally agree!!! He destroyed it and brought the crowd and everyone in our house to their feet!
most kickass guitar intro ever writen by a band from the nineties. PERIOD!
Outstanding song!! Thanks for putting this one up. This second album was fantastic. I bought it when it came out. Still sounds good.
Loved this band since the sixth grade. Always at their best playing southern rock instead of trying to sound like Santana or foghat.
I'm hearing a lot of Humble Pie influence here... rock on!
They wanted to be Humble Pie
Right on
Early Aerosmith too.....songs like "One Way Street"
Saw them live a few years ago. Phenomenal!!!
I know it's the music that's phenomenal but I so dig Chris Robinskn w/o Santa Claus look.🧡
Essa música é tão libertadora! Gosto demais!
Ticket PRICE FREE. Being there PRICELESS!
Really love this song, the best of that album, to my opinion
Good old bad ass tune with attitude. My monitor's smokin'.
Marc Ford set this band on fire back then.
Exactly Fuckin Right.
probably one of the only REAL bands left from the old mtv days. they (mtv) sold their

@pcburgh01 - No shit eh? Back when they played music and didn't need MTV2 lol, and the only shows they had were Remote Control and Kurt Loder news?? Bonus if you remember who the host of Remote control was, and no cheating looking it up :)
Colin Quinn and Adam Sandler played on Remote Control as well.
Sons & daughters better open your eyes
Tell me what you're seeing
Cause this submission is a tired tradition
It's everyone's sacrifice
What year was this
Piedmont park?
Someone was probably 'high' when they were typing the band name and song title for the video.
IT'S JUST MY OPINION....
Man , just imagine , if they had been famous in the 70's, now they would be at the height of Lynard Skynard or zeppelin, who knows, but they would have been a very important band.
And if the drugs didnt fuck up Chris Robinson......and he could get along with his brother.....these guys fought more than The Kinks!!
@dave3877 WELL SPOTTED

Jman
Yaa he is just as good as slash if not better
And he can right great songs.
Absolutely. One of the great rhythm players (& lead), like Keef & rich he plays for the song & keeps bands tight! Underrated!

my favourite black Crowes song and video!!!!

Hands down one of the greatest bands of all time...especially this line-up. Marc Ford. Johnny Colt. Ed. Can't fuckin beat it.
If only the new bands can be influence by this band, the world will have a better sounds today and the future...
Weed- recognize it and legalize it!
I also love this song. The Black Crowes are one of my favorite bands of all time!
This is about as rock n roll as it gets, besides the Stones.

GOOD OLD MTV :( HOW I MISS IT :(((. I LOVE THIS BAND!
Luther Dickenson is pretty good man.

@luckygreen17 I know I was just responding to someone who said that the current line up is not as good as this line up.
