Critter #3 looks like the final King Stage of those creatures from Tremors 😂 As for the mental health and art part of this, 100% agree. I struggle with BPD, CPTSD and ADHD. Meds do not help and fck therapists. Raw doggin the bad days is not easy. I am highly self aware though. Art, my 2 daughters and my cats have gotten me through. I just finished a piece of a hyper-realistic eye (1000% credit goes to your streamed video on hyper realistic creature eye from last yr!). Anyway, the eye is crying chains connected to an anatomical heart that's also bound with ropes as veins. Took about 12hrs across 2 days. Struggling with a relationship (it is me 100% and not him). It's a black and gray image representing my guilt. I have a lot of healing to do but finally back into drawing is helping tremendously. 93% of that credit goes to Bobby. Without these videos, I'd be lost. ❤
It is a escape for me mostly but I still have to remember that I still have to place myself in reality. Which is hard because it's comforting to be in the fantasy world.
Yea it is a great thing to have motivation for steps of past and future and because it is light for wallets (at least in the beginning) anyone can do it, and im doing graffiti letters on paper for practice. Ps: love your style for drawing it looks jos easy!!.
I feel I actually get a bit anxious when drawing, because I feel that there's so much to think about that I get overwhelmed, making it hard to enter that "flow state". I've been drawing for long enough that I think I no longer just fall back on the idea that I'm a beginner, but every step forward feels hard won, even if I do see progress. It sometimes makes it hard to draw because I'm worried I'm not doing things right
Depending on my mood, I'll use drawing, model making, creative writing, sculpting, reading and/or watching anime as a means for handling anxiety and depression.

This video is invaluable, I really appreciate the information here!

I can relate.
Tem grande criatividade, cria personagens de forma bem facil, sem quebar a cabeça. Parabéns.

I use art as a creative output i love how i can draw what i think i also love comics so i love drawing zombies and superheros
I'm drawing a character from warhammer 40k. Horus luperchal is my subject today 🙂
I want to be monster hunter games creatures concept artist one day 🙂
work if you know how to draw, but for me si full anxiety uu
Incorrect. Knowing how to draw, and the physical act of drawing are two different things. You can enjoy listening to music even if you can't sing.
I think this method is only helpful to those who knows how to draw
There are many methods.
