These sound quite angry yes. I had a E39 530d touring in oxford green metallic with the black buffalo leather interior. Mine was the facelifted model with the yellow corona rings. We did 300.000km with that car. God it looked angry at night, the color looked more like black, these had these thin horizontal Taillights, with the yellow angel eyes and that gentle, U-boat like 😂 diesel sound. As Jeremy Clarkson stated: “Yes, its a diesel. Lucifer has come to our world of milk and petrol.” It was often mistaken for a 518d 🥴 by idiots trying to act like a big man in their 120hp Audi A4 company car. Until you put your foot down and that 5 series hauls off 😂 it dynoed over BMW’s factory value as usual. Somewhere north of 205hp.
Without question 535d is where it's at in my opinion no remap is needed 286 bhp 580 nm how much more power is needed ps I just brought a 535d best car I've ever owned and few mercs but nothing touches a 6 cylinder beema
@@aqibmehboob976 thx for your reply man. if i don't forget i'll message u when i get my e60 (about to sell my e90 to a friend soon ish) can't wait to see the difference between 3 series and 5 series in terms of driving etc... i'm interested into 525 or even 530... if i could find any in good condition i hope. Any tips or advice what should i be aware of buying one? .. i'm lowkey scared to buy car w 300k km, idk.. your advice? Thx again man. have a nice day #BmwCrew
I had 335d for half a year now i moved to 535d and I’m planning to stick with it for a good while. Already pushing over 400bhp and I’m not worried about mileage after changing timing chain kit.
i have 530d and its mapped with 320bhp also with mapped transmission. Feel much faster than 640d that is mapped for little over 400bhp but with stock transmission
I just got downpipe and exhaust is still stock. Not that deep sound but pretty good. If you not into mad exhaust sound I think with just downpipe stock one will do. I wonna do straight exhaust but at the same time don't want car to be smoky. So haven't decided yet.
I just got mine remapped and downpipe fitted. And there is sound of turbos at lower rpms and when I floor it nice exhaust sound not as this one but for a stock exhaust with back box pretty decent. I have 535d 2009 mapped over 400hp
Sounds great for a diesel
6-cylinder diesel sounds so mad :D

Hi, that sounds amazing. Looking for a similar noise on my 635d. Is it just a DPF delete and backbox?
Complimenti un mostro😍😍😍🥰🥰
535d sound 👍👍👍🔥
that sounds naughty!!
Hi mate, did you had problems with blue smoke at the beginning after removing the dpf ? Or let's say any other problems with smoke?

how do you like the sound compared to the stock muffler with dpf removal

I hava a e60 535d Facelift but i dont hear my turbos like that why?
Becouse you have a muffler and a DPF
@Emre Koesker Closed DPF/downpipe, you will hear it. Remove muffler it becomes even louder
Lion 99 because i live in Germany 😅
