- Russia's defence minister Sergey Shoigu has claimed that since the start of this year, forces have claimed over 400 square kilometres of Ukrainian territory. According to an assessment of the battleground, Russia has made big advances on the battlefield since the fall of Avdiivka. Ukrainian military officials have also expressed concern over the dire situation at the frontlines, saying that without aid, more cities will fall.

Those who are going gaga over 403 sq km must know since counter offensive which was meant to liberate already captured territory failed and since then Ukraine lost 583 sq km ( 483 this year alone ). This is BESIDES the already captured territories in 4 provinces which in total is over 100000 sq km ( size of south korea ) and around 18-20% of total Ukrainian territory.
Big mistake Ukraine.. now loose the war and still try to pay them the money you owe..

Rhode Island is over 1000sq mi. Chicago city limits not including the suburbs is 231sq mi.
